    • Your TV may be using the 2.4Ghz WiFi, and your laptops might be on the 5Ghz band. Some routers cannot handle this, so use a 2.4Ghz SSID on the laptops to test.
    • FYI: see my post on this above. You cannot do it directly, only indirectly via your router, if it has a content filter that you can configure.

    • I’m having a standby issue with my lg Oled 83” the remote standby button will not turn the tv off or on even though it lights when I press it. I can turn the tv off with the remote AI function by saying power off. The tv also comes on ok with hdmi-cec enabled via my sky box. it has only just started doing this and my sky remote that was setup to also put it in standby also no longer works, hence I suspect a software update/memory leak issue. I contacted lg and they are to send me a new remote 😳
    • Having sound default to the TV speakers if bluetooth headphones are disconnected is a very unfortunate choice for late night TV watchers who do not want to wake up their households. If my headphones turn off due to low battery, I accidentally turn off my headphones before turning off my TV, or I simply lose my headphone connection by walking too far away from my TV, the TV speakers takeover and wake up my household. A simple fix would simply be to mute sound or drop the volume to a very low setting whenever defaulting back to the TV speakers.
    • We are on Directv and have numerous programs recorded and stored in the cloud because we are streaming. About 2 months ago large portions of our library vanished. The programs still show on our computer but not in our library on the TV. Does the problem reside in the TV?
    • This is for all that have LG monitors with the latest software that changed UI settings for GAME OPTIMIZER I could not find this anywhere on the internet for an update on what happened to the compatibility modes for DisplayPort/HDMI. Everything is outdated. Apparently LG updated their UI and MOVED the option for compatibility modes to disable DSC. This USED to be in the common GENERAL tab, but NO LG moved it to the External Devices, which makes no sense as it should be with the common general menu. I'm not sure if this is a bug or an oversight, but here it is SETTINGS BUTTON > GENERAL > EXTERNAL DEVICES > INPUT COMPATIBILITY Why would you disable DSC, you ask? Well, if you don't disable this mode, you will not be able to use scaling factors like DSR on NVIDIA. I have seen remarks about AMD being able to use it without this option turned off, but for NVIDIA they are behind on this. This WILL disable high frame rates beyond 144 Hz for the trade-off, but you will be able to scale your resolution higher.   link hidden, please login to view TESTED 1.4dsc off (full dsr support higher res)
