This is for all that have LG monitors with the latest software that changed UI settings for GAME OPTIMIZER I could not find this anywhere on the internet for an update on what happened to the compatibility modes for DisplayPort/HDMI. Everything is outdated. Apparently LG updated their UI and MOVED the option for compatibility modes to disable DSC. This USED to be in the common GENERAL tab, but NO LG moved it to the External Devices, which makes no sense as it should be with the common general menu. I'm not sure if this is a bug or an oversight, but here it is SETTINGS BUTTON > GENERAL > EXTERNAL DEVICES > INPUT COMPATIBILITY Why would you disable DSC, you ask? Well, if you don't disable this mode, you will not be able to use scaling factors like DSR on NVIDIA. I have seen remarks about AMD being able to use it without this option turned off, but for NVIDIA they are behind on this. This WILL disable high frame rates beyond 144 Hz for the trade-off, but you will be able to scale your resolution higher. TESTED 1.4dsc off (full dsr support higher res)
