  1. Hi! I am having an LG UH850V TV that supports HDR 10 and Dolby Vision. However, while playing Dolby Vision movies, the screen appears green but the audio is clear. How do I fix this.
  2. Web SDK webOS TV SDK is a tool that provides developers with tools for webOS TV web app development and emulator for testing. 3. Hi, I have a web app running on a webos 2018 TV. It is enhanced with aria-labels and such so that a screen reader should synthesize speech from the focused elements. I have turned on voice assistance of course. On another well known platform I have speech, but on this system it is silent. I know I can make it speak using webos API, but for now I'm looking for this screen reader approach. Is there anything I can do to enable it?
  4. Why does my LG Smart TV is not running some app that some of my relative's LG Tv does? https://techlarapoint.com/farming-simulator-16-mod-apk/ here is one of them.
  5. You need to get the spectrum app to be available for lg tv's. It's sad that only Samsung tv's have it and you don't.
  6. is there a webtv function or app that shows all of shows available on all the services I subscribe to. Xfinity does with this it's cable service for example. If you click on "recently watched" it all show all the shows you've watched wether from live TV, on demand, or from apps such as Netflix, that you've logged into. , Apple TV does the same thing. As do third party providers such as realgood. Anything similar of LG TV
  7. My smart TV remote control developed a problem where it would jump up and down the menu. If you have this problem the way to fix it is to open up your remote control (pops open by slipping in to the bottom corner with blade or similar flat item and prize open) then taking the circuit board remove scroll wheel then spray WD40 or similar allow to soak in then wipe off surplus and gently tap out, replace scroll wheel and work it well by rolling it then wipe again and put back together....job done!
  8. I have LG tv and I want to add a satellite that is not in the list (I want to add Express AM22). Is there a way to do this? Is there a way to change the degree of existing satellite?
  9. Bought an LG WebOS TV UK6570AUB last year. Has been working fine. Last night during an Amazon Prime show, heard a pop then sound was gone. TV diagnostics show tv is fine. Cable diagnostics say cable is fine. Sound fine via youtube and dvd player. No sound via cable box. Picture is fine. Anyone else have this issue? Is there a fix? Uninstalled/reinstalled amazon prime app. Very frustrating. Thank you!

  14. LG always makes a big splash at CES, and the first glimpse we've had of the 2019 lineup looks great. From the first 8K OLED TV to hit the market to smarter AI and across-the-board improvements, LG's TVs are looking especially good for 2019. LG Jumps to 8K The biggest announcement has to be the introduction of the 88-inch Z9 OLED 8K TV, the first OLED to come to market with the higher resolution standard. The sleek TV has an ultra slim design, eye-popping detail and impressive dynamic range. It's also the first 8K TV announced that will offer to perfect black levels and per-pixel lighting that makes OLED such an impressive display technology. During our hands on time with the new TV, we were impressed not only with the amazing clarity of the picture, but also the vibrant color and brightness. While LG declined to comment on peak brightness levels, it matched some of the brightest TVs we've seen, without sacrificing any of the detailed shadows or mid-range colors that might wash out on a lesser TV. The second is an 8K LCD set to 75-inch LG NanoCell 8K TV (75SM99), which uses LG's optimized LCD displays and NanoCell film filtering for premium TVs. Like the OLED model, it features incredible resolution, but the LCD display offers excellent brightness and color, two areas where LCD generally outperforms OLED. With the lack of any 8K content available to Consumers, LG is going to some lengths to ensure that current content looks good on the high-resolution panel. Even on the LG enhances all incoming content by pulling in optimization from deep datasets, offering upscaling and clarity enhancements for any content, from any source. Both OLED sets will be coming to market in 2019, likely sometime in June or July. Pricing details have not yet been announced. Smart TVs Get Smarter The rest of LG's OLED lineup is seeing significant improvements thanks to new Alpha 9 (A9 Gen 2) processing hardware, found in LG's OLED and premium LCD models. The processor handles processing for a cleaner picture, sharper details and a wider look-up table for true-to-life color. Unexpanded video cleanup process removes unwanted artifacts and offers sharper picture from any content source. While the TV still primarily relies upon Google Assistant for content search and other capabilities, this does open up all of the functionality Amazon offers their customers, including exclusive skills such as Audible audiobook playback, listening to songs through Amazon music, travel booking through Kayak, and more. The smart TV software is also getting updated as LG rolls out webOS 4.5. The on-screen menu is getting an improvement, adding a second contextual row to the app menu that pops up when you select an app. In this second row, you'll see recently watched content, along with movie recommendations and trending content. Smart home enthusiasts will be pleased to learn that the new version of webOS also includes a feature called Home Dashboard. This dedicated tool lets you manage all of your connected home devices, from smart doorbells to thermostats, right from the TV. OLED and LCD TVs for 2019 LG's entire lineup is being updated for 2019 with new models coming this spring. Models announced include the premium LG OLED E9, entry level OLED C9, and an updated version of the super thin wallpaper TV the LG Signature W9 OLED. No prices have been announced, but we expect the TVs to begin rolling out this spring. (Though not yet announced, LG did tell us that the popular LG OLED B9 will be coming out later in 2019. No additional details were shared.) LG's LCD model line, previously known as Super UHD, is now known as NanoCell. The model line features the new webOS 4.5 platform, and many (though not all) models will include the new Alpha A9 Gen 2 processor, with all of its enhancements. Pricing details have not yet been announced, but the new models will arrive in stores sometime this spring. 15. First To Mass Produce Large Screen OLED TVs, LG Poised to Lead Market in Advanced Premium TV Technologies BERLIN, Aug. 29, 2018 — Already a leader in advancing TV innovation with its OLED TVs, LG Electronics (LG) is introducing the world’s first 8K (7680 x 4320) OLED TV. Previewed at IFA 2018, the 88-inch class 8K LG OLED TV features over 33 million self-emitting pixels to produce the unmatched contrast ratio and true blacks that define OLED TV’s iconic picture quality. With OLED TV shipments in the market expected to double in 2018 and reach over nine million units by 2022, LG will continue to increase the OLED share in its premium TV portfolio and drive large scale consumer adoption of OLED TVs. While the 8K TV market is still in its infancy, it is expected to grow to more than 5 million units by 2022, and LG is committed to leading the ultra-premium market with its 8K OLED TV technology. Despite advancements in LCD field, OLED has been often referred to as the “nextgeneration display technology” because it emits its own light, eliminating the need for any kind of backlighting. This allows for state-of-art TVs which redefine both the picture quality and the product design. Not only was LG able to pioneer such technologies, but it was also able to successfully market them. “LG’s first 8K OLED TV is the pinnacle of technological achievement and the next evolutionary step in display technology,” said Brian Kwon, president of LG Home Entertainment Company. “4K OLED played a major role in reshaping TV industry and LG is confident that 8K OLED will do the same.” LG introduced the 88" 8k OLED TV at CES 2018

  17. Hi, I am new to WebOS and trying to setup my environment. I followed the same steps mentioned here: http://webostv.developer.lge.com/sdk/install-instructions/installing-sdk/ After completing these steps, I found four new applications installed in my system: webOS TV CLI, webOS TV IDE, Oracle VirtualBox, webOS TV Emulator v3.0.0. Now, when I am trying to run Emulator, nothing is happening. I am using macOS High Sierra. Can someone please help me out in this? ☹️
  18. hello i have issue , i have install app "lg tv plus" for ios ( Iphone 6 ) I connect my tv (lg 43uj651v) to same router with my phone but the apps not find any tv to connecting and idea ?
  19. Still getting the oft reported out of memory error with latest 2017 smart tv's running very latest WebOS and App updates. So annoying LG cannot fix this problem which as been ongoing since at least 2015.ti little more than trite suggestions to re-start the TV or remove unused Apps etc. Problem seems to be either insufficient memory installed to run WebOS apps properly or a major problem with WebOS ability to properly manage what memory there is. Combined with pitifull lack of USB ports quickly occupied with hard drive if recording and time machine functionality is required the 'smart' features seem poor compared to other manufacturers now.
  20. Noticed UK Freesat Satellite TV Guide does have a filter to view by Genre but the antenna Freeview guide does not have this feature/function - why not?
  21. The list have been moved to the official forums: http://developer.lge...prodTypeCode=TV
  22. my lg tv has a very good internet connection which is even capable of 4k but only plays the videos at 720p , need help!
  23. I have managed to get content to play online but have no subtitles when needed. Is there a way to play content via the lg web os browser and have subtitles displayed as well. Anyone come across this problem as it's a bit specific?
  24. I've got a 47LB650V and at the beginning of the month the TV was upgraded to the latest firmware. The upgrade went okay, however, since then anything played through the HDMI channels, the audio goes out of sync and its frustrating, not even the audio sync settings help. I have to change from HDMI to Live TV, then back to HDMI to resync it. It happens on Bluray, Wii U and Satellite, and is very annoying. Any solutions?
  25. Looks like LG is building a site where they will have developer info, according to their developers forum: http://developer.lge.com/community/forums/RetrieveForumContent.dev
