  1. I just got an OLED55C8. I won't have a cable or antenna connection to it, nor will I have any other devices physically connected to it. So there are no input sources to choose from. Everything I view will be coming through WiFi. Whenever I turn on the TV, it comes on with the TV source selected. And because I have no signal sources connected to it I get a random noise picture and sound. If the volume was up high on the previous viewing, the random noise is pretty loud. It can be pretty jarring at times. Is there some way I can set it so that upon power-up one of my streaming apps, such as YouTube TV or Netflix, is selected? Or can it come on with the volume off and on the home screen? If not, is there some way I can at least set the default volume level used at power on?
  2. Hi Team, We dont have Airtel Tv and Hot star app available on lg web os. Availability of these app will make our tv actual smart. Thanks.

    HBO GO/ SHO Anytime

I just bought an LG smart tv only to find out that HBO GO and SHO Anytimw are not available?!?!?! This seems totally crazy. Why would LG do this ? I am thinking about taking it back to the store and getting something else. I feel like buying a Chromecast or Firestick would just defeat the purpose of having a "Smart TV". I don't want 300 remotes. Is there any effort by LG to put these apps on their operating system?
  5. We need to buy a large number of 4K Smart TVs. We only need to display our plain text events list published on our web server. No RF Tuner, no multiple ports, no multiple apps, no other advanced features needed. We evaluated your LG 43UJ6300 Ultra HD Smart TV (2017 model). This TV has many more features than we need but yet missing a couple of crucial ones. We could not find anyway to automatically start web browser on start up and we could not disable its screensaver. How do we set & save these two kiosk settings?
  6. I just hooked up a new LG 4K Smart TV. I'm having more problems with this than I can handle. First, I can't get the cable to work??? (By the way....The cable box worked perfectly on my Samsung TV that this replaced. ) My other Major Problem is that I am unable to download the user agreement so can not accept the terms and therefore can't use the smart tv functions. Please Help!

    Slowness

I recently bought LG webos TV LH600v and it's really slow and I updated the firmware but it's still very slow and annoying. Is there any solution at least for the TV menu itself (browsing is much worse).

webOS for all LG smart tv

hi, first of all - glad there's a forum for lg webos. I want to keep it simple, my wish for webOS is the support for older LG smart tv. i have LG LM6700 47inch, i do hope that webOS can replace the OS currently in my tv.
  9. I recently bought an 50LB650V-ZN and as they have been out for a while i assumed it woukd need updating straight away. ive connected it to the internet and when i click check for update i get the message 'Unable to check for updates' i also bought a magic remote and after about 5 minutes of using it a pop up will appear saying 'failed to update magic remote' then the magic remote will turn off and stop working until i remove the batteries and put them back in again. ive asked at the shop where i bought it and they say the TV should need updating straight away as its been available for about 8 months and that the magic remote doesnt actually update, only the software on the tv will update to support the magic remote. ive tried to download the software update from the lg website but cant get the files to unzip so my tv doesnt recognise the files. anyone come accross this problem before or know how to fix it? any help would be appreciated thanks
