Question

I have a strange problem with freeview play and Iplayer on my 55 E6 I need help first is this the correct place to post
The problem started about 2 months ago
If i select a BBC program from the past by scrolling through the freeview guide Iplayer starts as usual But when it starts playing there is no picture or sound if subtitles are on you can see the the subtitles going by but no sound of picture.

if i start iplayer using the app UI to watch the same program it works fine
all other catch up works through the freeview guide
If i am watching a bbc program and press green to restart the program it works ok also
I have contacted Freeview they told me to contact BBC
I have contacted bbc iplayer help they told me to contact LG

I contacted

link hidden, please login to view
they sent an engineer he said he would report the issue to LG
I am told LG said they did not see it as a problem and would do nothing
I spoke to  again and was told LG tvs do not support Iplayer any more

I also have a 55uh850v that I use in my cinema as a 3d monitor this tv is olso webos3 this tv has exactly the same problem
I also have a 49UH610v this works perfectly
I also have a OLED55B7V this has the freeview guide disappearing problem that is well documented in "LG TV Freeview Play" forum but when its working the Iplayer works ok
I have 70mg fibre broad band and the tvs are on wired ethernet

I do not know what to do next

Please take steps to include Airtel Xtream Play app in WebOS Content Store!
In India everyone is using Airtel network and Xtream Play as a bundle recharge offer with it!
LG TV is very good and technically advanced! For this mere reason of not having Airtel Xtream Play App, We Customers, need to switch over to other brands!
So, it is mandatory and timely, for LG to make Xtream Play available in WebOS TV, otherwise you have to loose your trusted Customers like us!
         Please think twice and Consider!!!

I am using the lg tv from 2 years and I found an amazing experience till now.
But I like request about Play box TV app. Please add this app in store section so that I could download it on my tv.
It would be helpful if you respond to my email. This app is very demanding now a days as it comes with the excitel broadband service.

LG Television.   Device ID: LG24-K8LPN2   Rowridge transmitter -  BH22 (Dorset)     I purchased a new LG television last week from Curry's but am having a repeated issue on the Freeview channels. The issue is that despite several attempts at clearing the memory and doing an automatic retune on digital channels - after an overnight switch off, they have all gone again by morning.    I can view everything as normal during the daytime - including if the television has been turned off for a number of hours. The issue arises when I turn on the TV the following day after it has been turned off overnight. I am continuously left with just five channels starting at number 301 as per the image below.     I have a set top box from BT and have tried retuning the TV both with the box connected, and without. The results are the same each time, no matter what I try. Daytime all is well, but after an overnight period I am left with the screen above.     As you can see from the image below, everything is as it should be after yet another retuning session this morning. Please can you help?

LG Television.   Device ID: LG24-K8LPN2   Rowridge transmitter -  BH22 (Dorset)     I purchased a new 50" LG television a couple of weeks ago from Curry's but am having a repeated issue on the Freeview channels. The issue is that despite several attempts at clearing the memory and doing an automatic retune on digital channels - after an overnight switch off, they have all gone again by morning.    I can view everything as normal during the daytime - including if the television has been turned off for a number of hours. I did a bit of googling and found out it was an energy saving thing to ensure the TV isn't left on all night if you fall asleep in front of it. With the Fire TV was there was a way to override this in the settings, although I never did anything about it as 99% of the time I was already in bed and therefore not a problem. I'm wondering therefore if this issue on my LG unit is in some kind of similar vein and just needs something to tell it to stop doing this reset???    Can anyone help me please as I'm getting sick of doing an auto tune every morning.    Many thanks in advance.   David.
