I purchased a new LG television last week from Curry's but am having a repeated issue on the Freeview channels. The issue is that despite several attempts at clearing the memory and doing an automatic retune on digital channels - after an overnight switch off, they have all gone again by morning. 
 
I can view everything as normal during the daytime - including if the television has been turned off for a number of hours. The issue arises when I turn on the TV the following day after it has been turned off overnight. I am continuously left with just five channels starting at number 301 as per the image below.

I have a set top box from BT and have tried retuning the TV both with the box connected, and without. The results are the same each time, no matter what I try. Daytime all is well, but after an overnight period I am left with the screen above.
 
 
As you can see from the image below, everything is as it should be after yet another retuning session this morning. Please can you help?

I also have this exact issue, and I am also on Rowridge, though I didn’t think of the transmitter being implicated.

I can tell you the ‘fix’ - Settings/General/Programmes/Programme Tuning and Settings/Programme List Update  - set this to Off.  

(The exact journey from Settings to Programmes varies across my four LG TVs).

After that, if the programme list really changes, you will get ‘Programme Map Changed - do you want to retune Yes/No?’ and you can do this when it is convenient for you.

As to the problem, it is the TV waking up once a night to check the Programme List, finding no broadcast channels, or thinking that it has, and in a massive failure of common sense, deleting all the ‘missing’ channels from your EPG, leaving only the few IP ‘channels’ that are always there, as per your first picture (even though I can’t see either image, I’m pretty sure what they look like).

And then not waking up later on to check again, and maybe put the channels back.

LG should fix the check so that if it finds no channels at all, it leaves things alone, or reschedules the check for an hour later, or some such.

It would be interesting if anybody else reports the same issue here, and from what transmitter.

I might ask Freeview what they think, as well.

      We are facing playback issues on LG 2024 and 2025 tv models when we try to play AAC audio content. The content starts playing but after a few seconds it pauses. We have tried with WebOS native player as well as Shaka Player and the behavior is same. We can play the aac audio content on tv models older than 2024.
      Tv model used: 
      LG -2025
      Model no - 43UA83006LA/2025
      Type- ultra HD/4kTv
      LG webOS- (10.3.1)

      i have finally fixed the HDMI ARC issue.
      Apparently some people also had the same issue and couldnt figure out whats wrong.
      After reading through AVSForums, I finally understood that LG had a bug in HDMI operation as well..

      The problem happens when your TV is already sending sound through HDMI ARC to a AVR and you try to connect additional sources like dth or blueray player to additional HDMI ports of TV and AVR. Once you add additional sources, you might try to use LG's device connector setting to control the device and this is where HDMI ARC stops working.

      Solution:
      disconnect all hdmi ports of TV and AVR.
      Full reset TV and AVR.
      Only Connect HDMI ARC port of TV with HDMI ARC OUT of AVR. Enable ARC feature on both TV and AVR. Open LG TV internal app,
      and check if sound is coming properly to AVR.
      Now you Connect All additional sources to other HDMI ports of TV and nothing should be connected to AVR.
      You may use LG device connector setting to configure the magic remote to control them.

      MY current setup of TV:
      HDMI 1: Airtel DTH.
      HDMI 2: ARC connected to Denon AVR 1500H.
      HDMI 3: ACT Television(Using this to play hotstar premium content as LG inbuilt APP is not playing it)

      Good news:
      LG magic remote can control all 3 devices seamlessly and thats a great ease for customers.
      I shall appreciate LG for this.

      On a OLED48B46LA tv how do I select Freeview channels? It seems to keep going to LG channels. If I select Live TV antenna I can put in a channel number eg 1  get BBC One. But if I press channel up, it does not go channel 2 but to the LG channels

      Trying to programme my magic remote to control an Amlogic OTT, however keep getting a ‘temporary issue occurred’ when I try. I’ve been trying for over a week now, so this temporary issue isn’t so temporary!
