Hi I'm trying to find out if a problem I have is a problem of my LG 49U67V TV or my modem's problem.
Some times ( irregular pattern) when I try to connect to some kind of web service (browser, YouTube, Netflix), I can't connect or the speed is too slow. My TV is connected via Wi-Fi.
When check the Wi-Fi and internet connection trough the settings Evey thing looks OK. At the same time my Android phones connect superbly and if I measure my internet speed via fast.com from phone or PC everything is OK. I found 2 solution for this
A. either restarting the modem and then everything is OK the connection superb etc.
B. Going to settings, disconnect from my router and reconnect (you know adding again the router password). Then everything is back to normal.
The TV does not seem to have any other issue.
I've tried to go back to factory settings. I've noticed the problem again. In irregular pattern it appears no standard time or pattern of appearance.
Could it be that my modem router is the problem? I have this modem for over 3 years.
I will try another to be sure. LG here said "we can check your TV but if we don't find anything you (me that is) will have to pay for pick up and delivery expenses.
clarification
The TV seems to be connected during this problem. Just it does not stream data from the internet or it does in low speeds. Netflix speed test shows it at really low speeds or disconnected while in settings it seems connected. Strength of Wi-Fi signal, superb

Hi everyone. I have a LG 49U67V TV.
I updated my internet connection to fiber 100Mbps. My new router uses both 2.4 & 5.0GHz frequencies. With my mobile phone I check my Internet speed with fast.com and it is 100Mbps. My TV connected also via WiFi in the same network can't reach with fast.com more than 12Mbps. What is the problem? Does my TV not support higher speeds?
If I change the router settings to transmit only in the 2.4GHz frequency, would something change? Would I loose speed in other devices such us my laptop and phones?
No can't connect via cable to the router. And I'm afraid to pay 50€ or more for a power connection
I tried something else. I connected my tplink WiFi range extender and then via ethernet cable my TV to this range extender. The problem here is that also the range extender can't reach more than 15 Mbps of speed. I tried to conect my phone to the extender and the result was the same the extender did not achieve more than 15Mbps in fast.com. So the extender had also issues achieving the speed of the ne router

Hi,
I update MY TV WebOS last night (Version 05.30.10)), then I cannot stream from my Android phone anymore! It worked perfectly with the pervious version.
Do you know if LG fix it or I should downgrade to the previous version?
How can I downgrade it?

Hi,
I have recently bought new OLED55BX. But as soon as I've added channels through satelite tuner I cannot change order of them. I think I'm in right section, because the legend of buttons in the right bottom corner says "change number of channel", "move channel" and so on. But when I press any of these, error pops up saying "cannot change channels from 1 to 778" (probably all of I have found at tuning). If anyone knows how to repair this please help.
Thanks and Merry Christmas.

When trying to load the Plex app on an LGWebOs smart TV, app says :-
CHECK NETWORK CONNECTION Error CODE : -337
This may be a temporary issue.
Please try again later.
(RETRY) (EXIT APP)
Firstly my network connection is fine. Netflix and YouTube loads and runs just seamlessly. This has only been happening in the last few months If I (RETRY) after a long wait sometimes it connects and loads correctly or I get the same error again. I have tried other Plex clients on my home server and they work just fine. Specs:
LG OLED65C8PTA TV running Web OS 04.10.15. LG Plex client app is version 2.1.6 from Sep 2016 Plex server is on my QNAP NAS and at version 1.13.5.291 from Sep 2018. I guess my question is, if the LG Plex client app hasn't changed since 2016 and my Plex server is working for other clients, then what is going wrong?
Cheers
Noel

Hi there,
I've just bought an oled55c8pla and vocals instructions are not working. When I try to use them a message pops up saying temporary connection error with server. Retry later (6022).
On web browser vocal dictation is working perfectly so magic remote is working as well.
Any tips? Already checked for updates (latest is 04.10.30), reset done, all agreement on user allowed, but nothing is solving.
A solution will be really appreciated.
Thanks

Question

Just bought an LGLED-65UJ630 65INCH TV. Right away I started to get the message "This app will now restart to free up more memory". After searching the internet and forums, I now understand that this problem is huge, it has been going on for years now and it is right across many models of LG TV's.
I have tried everything to fix this problem. It has the latest firmware. I did the factory reset and that lasted 4 hours before I got the message back. I turn off the TV and leave it for 10 minutes, maybe one hour later I get the message. I delete browsing history, maybe 10 minutes and I get the message..... you get the message.
As I understand it, the problem is that LG TV's don't have enough internal memory, but they have shipped a ton of their "smart" TV's with this problem.
My question is, has anybody heard anything from anybody, anywhere about a solution to this problem. I really want to keep this TV, but it is not fit for purpose in this state.

I had this self same problem, and I found the answer elsewhere. Go into settings and change the tv from Fast Start/Standby, and put it so as the TV actually turns OF when you hit the power button
