  1. Hi @DjDiabolik Have you tried a hard reset? As (in TV terms it is I believe running webOS 2) you set is now quite old it may be a physical fault and you may need to consult an engineer.
  2. Well I tried the page in Firefox and it would not even load, Opera would load the page but was unable to play the videos, Chrome is the only 'desktop' browser that works. My advice would be to get someone to recode the page so it works on multiple platforms. I can recommend a great chap to do the job if you want to PM me for details (and no, it is not me).
  3. Hi @Keerthi Preethi Unfortunately no one on this User-to-User forum is going to be able to sort out your problem. If you can give all the specifications of your particular TV a user may be able to tell you if the HOTSTAR app is available for your specific unit.
  4. DSTV Now, unfortunately, do not produce an app for the webOS platform or any other non-iOS/Android device. If you want a native app you are going to have to campaign for DSTV Now to produce one.
  5. Hi @b4lazs Was it an OS or app update that caused the issue?
  6. Have you tried running Windows's System File Checker on the drive? Alternatively find someone with a Linux system and see if that can read the drive as the OS tends to be a little more forgiving on reading problem hard drives.
  7. You can only upgrade if LG have released an upgrade for your specific model of TV.
  8. Unfortunately you will not be able to install Chrome on your TV as it does not run Android.
  9. Please provide some details of the TV, model number, software & firmware version to give the forum members something more to go on.
  10. Please note this is user-to-user forum so you will get no help from LG. As for the User Agreement issue it has been covered many times on the forum, please do a search for some answers.
  11. Hi CAAN, Your TV model may not be supported by the app, to confirm this you would need to contact Hotstar's customer services.
  12. Hi Azogui, The simple answer is that if LG has made the upgrade available then yes, if not no.
  13. Hi Rajit, You would need to contact Hotstar's customer support and ask them if they intend to support your TV model.
  14. This is a user-to-user forum with no representation from LG so do not expect any answers from them. If a particular app does not work then it is best to contact to producer of the app, which is normally not LG but the specific content provider.
  15. Hi, You would need to contact Hotstar's customer support and ask if they have or plan to include support for your model of TV in their app.
  16. I am sure if you look round the internet there are many places to download .apk files. Although it will not do you much good on your LG TV as it does not run Android.
  17. Not all apps will be available for all models, this is down to the producer of the app which most of the time is not LG. So if an app does not appear for your TV you would need to go direct to them, for instance Disney are ask them to include your model.
  18. Start with letting the forum know which router you have and which file types are applicable.
  19. As Adobe have not supported Flash of TVs for several years it is not just LG's platform that does not use it. Also, Adobe is ending support for Flash this year, please feel free to read any of the many articles available on the internet covering the matter: https://duckduckgo.com/?q=adobe+stopping+flash&t=canonical&atb=v184-1&ia=web
  20. LG did not produce the Hotstar app for the webOS platform, but was produced in-house by Hotstar who have taken the decision to only support more recent models in the LG line-up. If you have a complaint I should be directed to Hotstar not LG.
  21. As LG do not (in general) produce the apps found on the webOS platform (in the same way that Google & Apple do not produce every single app for their own platforms) if you want an MX Player app they need to be approached and asked to produce one. Members of the community did this with Hotstar and eventually an app appeared.
  22. Hi @Stevce Cosevski Unfortunately it is not possible to upgrade due to different architectures/hardware requirements.
