So LG has put webOS on TVs, projectors, and now cars with webos auto. Does anyone thing LG will ever produce a webos powered smartphone or tablet? I know samsung has tried with tizen and it was only with the palm pre 2 and touchpad from HP that we saw webos on these types of devices. Just curious on what everyone thingks. Here's what webos used to look like.. HP Touchpad
The LG TV Plus app for Android works fine for me but it can only turn OFF tv and not turn it ON. I assume that it is because when TV is off it is no longer on the WIFI network and the app cannot communicate with it. My Roku Android app can turn ON and OFF my LG TV. So, I first turn it on with the Roku app then boot up the LGTV Plus app. Seems ridiculous that LG could not figure out how to turn on the TV. Does anyone know of a fix?

Support at least one of your existing smart phone handsets properly (eg a mid range model), build it and developers will come, allow it to share apps and communicate with TV's and other webOS devices wirelessly. Eg, share photo's, movies, music and application data.
