Prime Video app broken after 7/25/18 update

Like others here are mentioning, the Amazon Prime Video app has broken after the last update. All I get is a black screen on my OLED TV.

Uninstalled and reinstalled, which worked for a few days but has since stopped. Uninstalled and reinstalled again, now working, but expecting to fail again when automatic update performed.

What is the actual version number of the software please?
