Prime Video app broken after 7/25/18 update

Like others here are mentioning, the Amazon Prime Video app has broken after the last update. All I get is a black screen on my OLED TV. Uninstalled and reinstalled, which worked for a few days but has since stopped. Uninstalled and reinstalled again, now working, but expecting to fail again when automatic update performed.
