Wireless Sound Sync omitted from 55UF6450 w/ weboS 3.10.80 software

Recommended Posts

NEWBIE NEVER POSTED BEFORE: I want to connect any compatible LG wireless headset to my LG webOS TV UF6450, my is on me to get this done because my wife likes to fall asleep earlier than me and I know this would work if my TV had the Wireless Sound Sync feature. I have emailed LG support and the chat service, neither one has attempted to respond and it has been over a week since I've written them. The following is what I keep sending LG over and over:

I’m trying to connect any set of LG wireless headphones to my LG TV webos 55UF6450 Ultra 4K with the weboS 3.10.80 software and my Smart LG TV came in the box with the weboS 2.1 software. However, every forum or LG help center related to the weboS 2.0-3.22 Behive-Big Horn edition software (same as my LG TV) illustrates a Wireless Sound Sync feature in the Sound Out function, but I don’t have the Wireless Sound Sync feature, which according to the LG site I should have it on my TV. I have exhausted every search for an entire 3 days straight to no avail. I called the tech support last night and the lady I spoke with said “NO old or new LG SMART TV would be compatible with any LG Wireless Headphones. I told her I read on the LG site that the HBS-700, HBS-730 and HBS-800 would work with my TV, only if I had the Wireless Sound Sync feature.

Hope I explained right and didn't put too much in the post.

Up until a few days ago my TV and AVR have been working perfectly since I bought it.
Zero hassles with HDMI and connectivity.
Then I was prompted to update to the latest software version which I did and now often when I switch HDMI (running on 1) it picks up the device name, CEC works but I get “No Signal”… and then nothing.
Just stays on “No Signal”. It is almost as if some HDMI handshake breaks and now the driver is in a broken state.
I’ve found that if I hard power off and power on the device sometimes works but I don’t want to do that every time especially since it’s hard to get to the power.
This really strikes me as a software issue with the latest update as absolutely nothing else has changed in my setup.
      I’ve tried:
Different HDMI cables (high quality) Deep colour settings Reset the TV to factory default Different HDMI ports TV
      Model: OLED65G26LA / OLED65G26LA.HFBQLWK WebOS TV Version: 8.3.0.2301 Software Version: 13.30.56 AVR & Devices
Marantz SR5015 Nvidia Shield Pro PS5
The setup is the conventional AVR installation as shown in the attached file

      Has anyone else experienced this?
Is it possible to revert the software update?

webOS updated, I think to 2023, on my C2 a couple of days ago. Since then the News option on the Sky News app no longer works, instead timing out. The Weather and Climate options still work, though.
I have deleted and reloaded the Sky News app, but the problem remains.
Does anybody have any suggestions of what I might try to get this working again, or is this something for LG, or Sky, to fix?

In the specifications of this LaserTV it is shown that WebOS 6.0 should be installed on this device.
The latest Device Firmware Version is 3.01.02 and i am missing the RTL+ App (Germany) which should be available with WebOS 6.0
So any info when there will be a "real" WebOS 6.0 available on the Cinebeam HU915EQE?

      Hey
I have an OLED C3 evo
A Pioneer amplifier is connected to the optical output.

I want to connect Bluetooth headphones and use them at the same time as the amplifier.
The thing is, I haven't seen such an option on TV. It is possible to play simultaneously with the Bluetooth headphones and the internal speakers on the TV.
There is no option for Bluetooth and the optical port at the same time.

      Am I missing something here?

      Thanks
      Dani
