Friends, many users are having this problem. After LG updated the firmware earlier this year (2022), the browser is no longer able to test the internet speed by going to the speedtest.net website. On my OLED55C1 TV, I tried testing on other websites, but they all gave wrong results on download speed. However, the upload speed was measured correctly.
Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

The only speed test app now doesn't work as the domain appears to be for sale. Is there anyone who knows of another way to check the speed on the device?

I think my tv is stuck in test mode or service mode its blank screen now after flashing colors. I moved the tv and pushed the toggle button by mistake some menu popped up and colors started flashing.
I was moving it because the hdmi ports stopped working tried everything to fix. Repsir guy said it needs new motherboard despite it the tv knew if hdmi was plugged in. Out of warranty. I just want to get it back to normal instead of black screen. I dont have magic remote. Its 2014 model 55ub8200-uh

The app worked fine for the last year, and then just 2 weeks ago it keeps saying cannot connect to test server. Any ideas?
Tried resetting tv and reloading the app but no help, my interent connection works fine using a Lan wire, the speed test app seems broke.
My LG tv is 49UH6030 model number.
