I don't face this problem, try to open YT app settings and make sure that language and location are set correctly.

My settings are all correct: Location, Region and Language and time and date!

YouTube was working correctly up to two weeks ago, then it changed.

Logging in to YouTube on Android phone with the same credential, does not give the same problem.

I'm not sure if this might be the problem, but I'm sure its relevant, after a recent LG TV update, whenever the TV reboots, it gives a message that the YouTube app certificates are outdated.

I then noticed that the TV does not update the date and time automatically, even though its set to Set Automatically.

If it was a Google problem, then the Android YouTube app would also display the wrong characters.

Please rectify ASAP - it's very annoying!

PS everything is fine if i upload 4k25p or 4k30p
PSS it's a problem only on webOS - on PC or android everything is OK.

I recently bought a 50NANO90A6B TV and so far I have to say it's a fantastic upgrade from my old Sony 40".
However, I've one small niggle problem (only had the TV since Sunday)... The YouTube app doesn't seem to want to work! it shows the logo with a spinny circle, then the logo starts again with the spinny circle... this just repeats over and over.
All other apps (iPlayer, Jellyfin, Plex, ITV, CH4 etc...) work as does the LGTV app, so the WiFi connection is fine!
I've uninstalled and reinstalled the YouTube app a few times, but it does the same each time!
Anyone know how I can sort this? any other suggestions for fixing it!
I'm currently using my Chromecast with GoogleTV for YouTube at the moment.
I'm in the UK by the way! And the TV is set to that, in all the relevant settings locations.

      Hi,
I believe it started to happen after last update - version 03.53.45, maybe the one before. After I quit YouTube app, TV will not get signal from HDMI settopbox no matter I try. Only solution is to unplug and plug back HDMI cable which is really annoying. Is it known issue? Is there any fix? I tried few workarounds, like disabling smart features and so on, but no luck.
      TV model: OLED55B13LA
      Example:
Settopbox is powered on, TV is showing signal over HDMI, everything is fine. Then I open YouTube, after some time exit, switch back to HDMI input of settopbox and TV says no signal. I re-plug cable and then it works fine.

LG please fix YouTube app! It's doesn't want to play 4k videos! It does play videos in 4k on Android or windows, but in the WebOS YouTube no... I'm really pissed, that I need to cry about it.. why it is taking so long? I'm not the only one with this problem..
