Netflix application update impossible after 05.50.06 update on my LG 55 uh770


Question

Hi. 

My 55 UH7707 received an SW update to version  05.50.06.  Here are the issues I have encountered:

1. The whole user interface became really slow. 

2. Also, what is most annoying, application updates are not installed, for example, NETFLIX has been impossible to update, being stuck in vicious circle,asking me to update the app, and then not being able to complete the installation of the update. 

3. Wired connection was disabled, ethernet module was not detecting a cable. I had to do a hard reset to enable the ethernet, and reacquire wired connection to the internet

If that is NOT what you have, then try downloading it onto a USB stck and update it manually, from here:

If it IS already that version, then I would recommend you report this issue DIRECTLY to your country LG support, as this is ONLY a peer-to-peer enthsiasts site, NOT related to LG itself.

Yes, you are correct. It was a typo. 

I managed to find a workaround by using WiFi instead of wired connection.  Update was successful. 

However, I would expect for the wired connection to work without problems, so I will contact Serbia LG support directly.

      I have owned this tv for a year and pleased with it ... until about a month ago. I now have constant repetitive messages in top right hand corner of screen saying 'Unknown device disconnected' or 'wired network is connected' or wired lan cable is connected' and it's driving me crazy.       i have a uj630v and it randomly pops up with restarting app to free up memory, any when there will be a fix for this other than having to reset the tv as its a real pain

      i have a LG55UN7440 .it's uae/africa version....it doesn't have alexa and a bunch of stuff...i wanted to know if i can replace the firmware with un7300 since they are basically the same thing ...without bricking my TV through the usb upgrade option

      is available for my tv, presently running
      05.80.55.
       
      Has anyone installed this update? How did it go?
       
      I typically wait for 1 to 2 weeks to see if there is any negative feedback.

      issue:
      netflix was working fine for a few months of using in the philippines then when update for netflix app came we were not able to download it. Tried uninstalling it but i was not able to install it back because it is not available in LG content Store.
      any advise?
