 after having massive hassles with a Philips TV and BBC iPlayer, ITV player etc.
A friend recommended LG, so I bought one.

NOW I find while you have iPlayer, ITV, Ch4, Ch5 players AREN'T available for my 2020 edition TV.

Is this going to be resolved or will I be returning the TV?

That's not true. I have the UK streaming apps, iPlayer, ITVHub, My5 and, until last weekend, All4. Now All4 does not work - I have deleted the app and re-installed it but it doesn't start at all, I get error T006. All the other UK streaming services still work, and Netflix. What could be causing that All 4 error? Some licensing agreement? Why not just say that and not quote error T006?

When I bought my LG the only questions I asked were about downloading apps from the Internet. The store assistant assured me that I could - not exactually lying through his teeth, I asked the wrong questions -  whilst never mentioning the "LG Content Store" and that restriction.  If I had known that I could not download any and all apps, I would never have bought  this stupid "LG smart TV" - that restriction is not mentioned in any LG marketing literature which must surely contravene EU law.  In my opinion, calling such LG TVs "smart TVs" is false advertising. 

If there are licensing agreements impeding consumers enjoyment of their so-called "smart TVs",

a,) then LG has to inform its customers before purchase, and I suspect not doing so is illegal under EU law (if my All4 doesn't reappear I will consult a lawyer - I live in the EU, therefore outside the UK)

b.) why does LG  supply 4 IPTV browsers  in its "Content Store"?

A different question; why doesn't the "LG Content Store" include at least one VPN?

I have lots of doubts about WebOS - it's not user-friendly and I suspect riddled with bugs.

      I know this was mentioned before. I'd like to support this.
      WebOS is such a great and versatile system; a real media centre. BUT: I have a number of video files that it simply doesn't play. VLC, e.g. does, but is not available. 
      To me it is such a pity that I have to have a system in parallel (actually a PC!) to play those files, with VLC, and then switch to HDMI to watch the clips on my TV. This doesn't look very much like 2026, as far as I am concerned.

      YouTube app problems, please help!

      I recently bought a 50NANO90A6B TV and so far I have to say it's a fantastic upgrade from my old Sony 40".
      However, I've one small niggle problem (only had the TV since Sunday)... The YouTube app doesn't seem to want to work! it shows the logo with a spinny circle, then the logo starts again with the spinny circle... this just repeats over and over.
      All other apps (iPlayer, Jellyfin, Plex, ITV, CH4 etc...) work as does the LGTV app, so the WiFi connection is fine!
      I've uninstalled and reinstalled the YouTube app a few times, but it does the same each time!
      Anyone know how I can sort this? any other suggestions for fixing it!
      I'm currently using my Chromecast with GoogleTV for YouTube at the moment.
      I'm in the UK by the way! And the TV is set to that, in all the relevant settings locations.

      Hello all,
      I believe this problem started after i accidently started and immediately cancelled the download of a app. After this I am unable to install or update any app evem after resetting to initial settings.
      This should be the exact problem found here https://www.lgwebos.com/topic/1918-because-i-can however the solution seems to require a new update. Help?

      Hi everyone,

      I’m running into a very inconsistent issue when streaming my Windows 11 PC with apollo (fork of Sunshine) to my LG C4 TV using Moonlight (webOS).
      The setup worked perfectly for about 6 months at 2K / 90 FPS with high bitrate.
      Around 2–3 weeks ago, the issue started without any clear change on the PC side (possibly after a webOS update).

      Symptoms:
      •    Moonlight on the TV shows “connection unstable” with a black screen
      •    Behavior is inconsistent and unpredictable :
      Sometimes nothing works at all with black screen Sometimes 2K / high bitrate work or not yesterday 2K didn't work but lowest resolution (1280x..) worked •    Streaming to my phone works fine, so the host PC and network seem OK

      What I’ve tried:
      •    Clean reinstall of Moonlight on the TV and Apollo/Sunshine on the PC
      •    H.264 only (no HEVC, no AV1, HDR off for testing)
      •    All bitrate / FPS / resolution combinations
      •    Ethernet and Wi-Fi
      •    Different Windows display modes
      •    Virtual display disabled
      Setup:
      •    Host PC: Windows 11, NVIDIA GPU (RTX 3070)
      •    Apollo installed on PC
      •    LG C4 TV, webOS 10.2.2, sideloaded Moonlight client (1.6.36)
      •    PC and TV tested on both Ethernet and Wi-Fi (2 gbps internet speed on my computer)
      •    Streaming to other clients (android phone) seems to work reliably

      Hello there!
      Recently the prime video app started to require the update to open, and now i am having a problem, because this app update REQUIRES to a system update of firmware (to webos24),
      but it will make impossible to homebrew later.
      So, can someone at least provide the last or update ipk of amazon (amazon.ipk), so i can install manually?
