LG SJ2 Soundbar

Question

Today bought this soundbar and sub. I asked salesman if it would wall mount and yes he said and showed me the two screwed inserts on the bars base and told me wall brackets are in the box.

Got it home and no brackets in box.

Are they missing, or did he lie to get a sale?

How does one wall mount?

Thanks.

Hi @David38

Going by this YouTube video:

link hidden, please login to view
there do not appear to be any mounting brackets supplied.  Also there are none listed as being supplied on the LG product page:

So chances are the sales person was probably misinformed...

Plenty of options available on the likes of Amazon depending on how you want to mount them:

Yes, it was Currys 🙂

Hi @David38

Ah, well that explains it then.  Sales people at my local Curry's keep telling people that Freesat are shutting down, and that in the very near future the only way you will be able to watch TV is via an internet connection...

      Hello All,

I was wondering if someone could help me to get the Netflix app on my LG  65' TV (65UB980T).
I have searched through the options but do not find any option to go and install or uninstall apps.  Also there isn't any option to sign in on the TV to download the apps from the LG store.
May be I might be missing something here, could any of you guide me on this please.
Also if possible can the firmware of this TV be updated - to get the WebOS 2.0 at least.

Guys I just bought a new LG TV with the updated WebOS interface where you get those recommendations come up as you hover over apps. I am struggling to find a way to add HDMI sources to the home menu, I now have to press the device selector button, I've had the 49UH770V for several years and it had a slightly older firmware but I could easily add my Sky and PS4 etc to the home menu. Can you not do this anymore?
