Hi. I am brand new on these forums and i can not say that i am the brightest in those areas. Now. I live in Iceland and well I get a limited part of Netflix up here. And i don't get Amazon Prime, Hulu just Netflix limited. But i can run express vpn on my computer and that way you get the idea. I have. Webos 4.5 (i think) and my tv is the following LG-55UM7100

I have an LG Smart TV 55UM7400 and I downloaded the Movistar Play app. I am streaming a channel and I can choose the language audio (english or spanish) and also the english or spanish subtitles. BUT for some reason the SUBTITLES do not load. I streamed the same channel on the movistar play app on my iphone and the subtitles worked fine!. Is there any configuration I need to do on the TV ?? I need some help. Thanks !
I was reading a few articles on the launch of Disney Plus but they did not list any of the tvs such as LG webos or samsung tv. I hope disney plus comes out in lg tvs. Its supposed to launch November 12th in the US for $6.99 a month or $69.99 a year. They also said there will be a $12.99-per-month trio bundle of Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ that is coming. I'm already doing espn for $4.99, I may do the entire bundle to get hulu also, not sure, At the minimum, I am definitely going to get Disney plus
Hi All Has anyone with a 2019 model Webos 4.5 or above got any of the Freeview IPTV channels working eg. 211, 261, 265 etc. I am trying to workout if this really is a problem affecting every TV made by LG in 2019 or just a few of us. After purchase my LG smart tv was able to pick up DTT (digital Terrestial Transmitters in the local area. These channels failed to work after some time and it was assumed that they were switched off due to the never ending wait for South Africa to migrate fully to digital.
However tuning my sons Hi Sense tv the said channels were found and indeed are operational as digital HD channels
Returning to my LG tv i changed the location to digital , retuned and lo and behold the digital channels appeared on a multiplex on uhf channel 49 (8mhz) however within a few minutes they disappeared never to be seen again isn spite of much time and many alternative settings.
I have tried changing location, adding channel 49 UHF manually which shows full signal strength and quality, but gives no digital programmes found.
I have had to revert to the 4 terrestial channels to get any tv operation at all.
I believe that my set has been crippled by LG. I am highly upset considering the cost of a uhd TV thats not capable of performing ito its original specification or at its best.
Any advice on how to obtain a working system ( frimware has been updated ) or the legal route to go to resolve this issue would be welcome.
NB as a retired broadcast technologist i do have some knowledge of the industry so would welcome any technical perspectives if i have missed something
Has anyone had a recent update of the OS on their TV to 4.7.050204 (goldilocks2-gulaga) ?
The reason I ask is that the IPTV channels on my TV seem to have borked these channels as I now get "Invalid Service"
floating across the screen. I'm pretty sure these channels worked before the update.
I'm referring to channels such as Now 90's, Planect Knowledge, The Sports Channel Network etc. So these are NOT APPS but
TV Channels showing up on the guide and still show the programme details.
This TV is only a week old, and I think I'm going to be bounced between the retailer and LG as it seems to be a software issue.
Does anyone have similar experiences and have you resolved the issue ?
Question: Why does LG's website say I should check this forum to see if 3rd Party Bluetooth Headsets with work completely and correctly with LG sound sync and WebOS, when LG has not or will not publish a list of which 3rd Party Bluetooth Headsets are tested as compatible with specific LG TV models?
We recently purchased an LG 55UM7300PUA (2019) TV and have a question about which 3rd Party Bluetooth Headsets that are compatible with LG sound sync and WebOS... My wife wants to listen to our 55UM7300PUA TV through a set of Bluetooth Headphones while the TV Internal Speakers are turned off...
It seems that LG's USA website needs to be updated because LG's search results about our 55UM7300PUA model seem incomplete. The LG Tech Support website does not list the 55UM7300PUA as a TV nor Smart TV product and no 55UM7300PUA or 55UM73 manual is listed in search results. I finally found the Owners Manual for our 55UM7300PUA through a Google search, but this PDF Owners Manual I downloaded does not say if our 55UM7300PUA supports LG sound sync or which manufacturer/models of Bluetooth Headsets .
I am disappointed by a lack of technical support from LG in past forum discussions regarding which 3rd Party Bluetooth Headsets with work completely and correctly with LG sound sync and WebOS. LG Technical Support is forcing customers like me to buy Bluetooth Headsets at our expense, they ask us to do their testing with a lack of specific 55UM7300PUA documentation, and they direct us to "refer to headset model names in user guide" that are not simply listed.
Does our 55UM7300PUA support the use of Bluetooth Headphones and is "LG sound sync" required for use with Bluetooth Headphones? Why should we have to test 3rd party Headsets at our expense when LG Tech Support should specifiy which OEM and 3rd party Headsets work with which LG TV models?
