This is not a bug, but rather user error.

All Settings -> Picture -> Picture Mode Settings ->  Picture Settings -> Black Level.
-> Picture Settings -> Apply to all inputs.

(After changing black level go back one to Picture Settings, at the bottom it will say "apply to all inputs".)

NOTE : The TVs seem to have a default Picture Mode quick setting for each app/input separately as well  (I.e Standard User / Vivid, / Eco etc) and will always revert to the last picture-mode setting used for that particular input/app. This is most likely what is overriding your black level change,

Make sure when you change your black level on a certain picture mode  you choose "apply to all inputs" AND also make sure Netflix has been switched to that SAME picture mode. (eg Vivid/Eco etc) (Exiiting the app after choosing the correct picture mode will mean it defaults to that setting each time until changed,.

For example If you changed your black level on one of the picture modes like "standard user"  while watching live TV, then switched to Netflix or HDMI1 the tv will go back to which ever "Picture mode" was last used for that particular input. E.g. if Netflix defaults to "Eco" then your black level settings (even if you  chose to apply to all inputs) will not show as are they are under the "standard user" picture mode quick setting.

Sorry if my explanations a little complicated.

i am having an issue with my LG OLED77C2 tv that started happening (i believe) once i have updated from web24 to 25. It seems like whenever the tv is displaying a source from any of my four HDMI inputs, while i am watching the screen goes black randomly for a few seconds and it loses audio as well during the black screen. Once this happens the audio usually comes back as soon as the image does, however not always. The audio might dissapear completely. In order to fix that i might need to power cycle the tv or unplug the hdmi input out, wait a little and then plug back in. Moreover, sometimes when the black screen flash happens it cripples most of my native apps on the tv. So if i switch to netflix or youtube right after the black screen flash, both apps populate normally all the video/film options in the main menu but when i try to actually play any of the video/films, they dont play and it is throwing an error. These black flashes never happen when i am watching netflix or youtube. Only when using my hdmi inputs. ive changed brand new high quality cables but that did not fix my issue. For the xbox i was already suing an ultra hish speed 2.1 hdmi cable but ive re placed that as well with a brand new one. ive also changed the tvs main board to a brand new and it still happening. Once the dealer changed the board, the tv was behaving normally without the issue. However after a few days i updated the tv to the latest firmware and this started happening. what do i do?
FYI: I tried EVERY SINGLE option to troubleshoot the issue. Disabled VRR, AMD Freesync, ALLM, HDMI Deep Colour, SIMPLINK, I basically set my tv to display video and audio in the most archaic way just to troubleshoot. Still doing it. I am using an xbox series x on input 1 and a mag520 box on input 3. Does it on both sources. Moreover, in case this helps whenever this happens while on the xbox the Dolby vision/HDR logo appears on the top right right after the video comes back once the black screen is over depending on what settings i have the xbox on. Also swapped to different inputs. Still doing it

      Hi everyone,

I’m running into a very inconsistent issue when streaming my Windows 11 PC with apollo (fork of Sunshine) to my LG C4 TV using Moonlight (webOS).
The setup worked perfectly for about 6 months at 2K / 90 FPS with high bitrate.
Around 2–3 weeks ago, the issue started without any clear change on the PC side (possibly after a webOS update).

      Symptoms:
      •    Moonlight on the TV shows “connection unstable” with a black screen
      •    Behavior is inconsistent and unpredictable :
Sometimes nothing works at all with black screen Sometimes 2K / high bitrate work or not yesterday 2K didn't work but lowest resolution (1280x..) worked •    Streaming to my phone works fine, so the host PC and network seem OK

      What I’ve tried:
      •    Clean reinstall of Moonlight on the TV and Apollo/Sunshine on the PC
      •    H.264 only (no HEVC, no AV1, HDR off for testing)
      •    All bitrate / FPS / resolution combinations
      •    Ethernet and Wi-Fi
      •    Different Windows display modes
      •    Virtual display disabled
      Setup:
      •    Host PC: Windows 11, NVIDIA GPU (RTX 3070)
      •    Apollo installed on PC
      •    LG C4 TV, webOS 10.2.2, sideloaded Moonlight client (1.6.36)
      •    PC and TV tested on both Ethernet and Wi-Fi (2 gbps internet speed on my computer)
      •    Streaming to other clients (android phone) seems to work reliably

Feel free to ask me any information needed
      Thanks for your help

From the days of clunky cartridges and boxy monitors, gaming has come a long way. Yet, even in 2025 and beyond, there’s still room for transformational leaps – like the recent arrival of Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) on LG Smart TVs. Thanks to this partnership with Xbox, LG is giving players new freedom to customize their gaming experience just the way they like it.
Make the Ultimate TV Choice for Modern Gaming
This collaboration transforms the conventional TV experience by offering access to hundreds of Xbox titles directly through the Xbox app. All you need is a compatible controller, a high-speed internet connection – and of course, an LG TV. It’s all about giving you the power to choose how you play.
But which TV model truly brings your games to life?
If you’re looking for a widely accessible TV built to amplify every aspect of gaming – and available in massive screen sizes – look no further than LG’s QNED evo lineup. Engineered for gamers, QNED evo TVs don’t just meet the demands of today’s top titles – they thrive on them. Here’s how.

Ultra-Smooth Gameplay Has Never Been so Accessible
Fast-paced games demand a display that can keep up. Precise, smooth gameplay can be the difference between victory and defeat – or between total immersion and sheer frustration.
QNED evo TVs prove that you do not need to splurge to enjoy the smoothest, low-lag gameplay. Laggy, stuttering scenes are a thing of the past with refresh rates of up to 165Hz, enabling more responsive gameplay, reducing motion blur and providing a competitive edge. LG’s α8 AI Processor helps deliver minimal latency and lightning-fast response times.
And there’s more: QNED evo models support Variable Refresh Rate and Auto Low Latency Mode for seamless tear-free gaming, while AMD FreeSync Premium keeps games smooth as butter.
This is all underpinned by four HDMI 2.1 ports – so you do not have to choose between multiple consoles and your soundbar. You get speed, fluidity and flexibility, all in one.
True Wireless Gaming TV With Zero Compromises
Speaking of not wanting to make compromises, some gamers just find cables distracting. Many turn to wireless HDMI transmitters. The trouble is, the quality of these can be inconsistent. That’s where LG’s Zero Connect Box steps in and changes the game.
This technology, found in the new QNED9M, enables True Wireless 4K connectivity at up to 144Hz – with no latency, no loss in quality and full support for Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. It even meets the AMD FreeSync Premium standard.
With the Zero Connect Box tucked away, you get a clean, clutter-free setup. Plug in your console or stream directly through the Xbox app – either way, you’ll enjoy seamless wireless gaming with low input lag and no visual compromise. Game your way, wire-free.

      Real-Time Adjustments for Competitive Advantage
You can make the most of all these benefits by checking out LG’s Game Optimizer, which allows for fast, intuitive control over the gaming experience. With a single on-screen dashboard, you can tweak key settings on the fly – like Black Stabilizer for better visibility in dark scenes. Whether you’re playing a first-person shooter, an RPG or a high-speed racing game, the Game Optimizer put you in control. Fine-tune in real-time and sharpen your edge over the competition.
Stunning Visuals That Pull You into the Game
Games also just look great on QNED evo models, whether you are playing in a bright room or a dark one. Underpinning their vibrant visuals is LG’s proprietary Dynamic QNED Color delivers unparalleled accuracy and true-to-life picture quality.
That’s particularly important in visually rich, cinematic titles where no one wants a washed-out screen to break the immersion. Thankfully, QNED evo TVs offer exceptional picture quality and 100 percent color volume, allowing gamers to experience stunning visuals with deep blacks, bright highlights and vivid colors courtesy of Dynamic QNED Color and cutting-edge Mini LED technology. Advanced AI algorithms raise picture and sound quality to provide an even more immersive gaming experience with superior clarity and detail.
Want even more immersion? Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos enhance every detail – every explosion, whisper and ray of light – to a cinematic experience.
Bigger Screen for a Bigger Gaming Universe
A final word on versatility and affordability. These are important QNED evo advantages. Attractive pricing compared with other top-tier TV technologies means more people are able to elevate their gaming experience with a QNED evo TV.
The lineup is broad, extending from 50 to 100 inches in size. Gamers who thought their dream 65-inch TV was out of reach, for instance, might find a QNED evo model that suits them perfectly.
There is also a consistent baseline of exceptional quality in the overall QNED evo gaming experience. This includes LG’s Gaming Portal, which enhances game streaming with effortless access to a wide range of popular and new titles. With a user-friendly interface, curated app list and personalized recommendations, it’s your central hub for game discovery and streaming – designed to make your gaming journey uniquely yours.

Be the Undisputed Champion in the Living Room
If you are seeking peak performance, stunning visuals and next-gen features – all at a compelling value – LG QNED evo is the ultimate choice. It transforms your living room into a true gaming arena, where every session feels like a front-row seat to the action.

      Hi,
Bought a new C4 OLED but i get black screens randomly when using internal streaming apps or just going back to the home menu. It seems as if WEBOS is crashing and i can only cut power and reboot when this happens...
Is it a software or panel issue

Hey, I have 3 NAS (DLNA) successfully connected to my OLED65C97LA since months and from one day to another all three have the same issue. So I must be a bug in LG TV? But I do not know what to do?
      - I can click on all 3 DLNA and its open a choice box for "music" or "image and video".
      - Click on all 3 DLNA for "music" and I get access to this DLNA and see my music files and can play it.
      - Click on all 3 DLNA für "image and video" and I get now only a black screen. I can move the cursor and open menus, but DLNA is black.
Am I the only one with this problem?
