I understand why the feature exists.  I will gladly accept resposibility for disabling the feature, knowing the possibillity of burning my screen.

It is NOT ACCEPTABLE to me to spend this kind of money on a high-end television and not be able to do something as simple as display Karaeoke lyrics on it.  Is it possible that the application developers can insert a function that keeps the screen saver from kicking in?

How does a Karaoke app manage to go entirely unattended for multiple hours? Don't people select songs? It's an inherently interactive experience. I don't think it is a great thing for an app to send false user activity indications to the OS. Maybe it could do something when microphones are turned on/off or when people are singing if mechanisms allow.

There's an option now to disable the screen saver, it was added when my 2018 75UJ657A was pushed to 06.00.04. I I noticed a few other things too, like being able to turn off the images it shows when there is no signal. Personally, what bugs me about screensavers on most devices isn't that they happen, but that they show some kind of animation stuff and keep the backlight on. It seems to me that the screen would be best saved by having it just go to sleep like my laptop and phone do.

Good Morning, There is a recommended minimum distance between the TV and the viewer. I bought an LG OLED C155 last month and it is uncomfortable from a distance. It was my mistake. I bought it without worrying about visual comfort. Is it possible to reduce the screen's usable area to simulate a screen size TV of 48 inches or less, accepting the black borders that would be created? It would be something similar to a custom aspect ratio. The idea would be to be able to simulate a smaller screen size than the purchased equipment. other-bigger->65->55->48->other-less

Samsung, Sony, Apple TV, and many other competitors have the Steam Link app. It was available for Android TVs that had access to the Play Store.
When I set up my new LG OLED TV and realized WebOS doesn’t have access to Steam Link, Moonlight, or another comparable app, all I could think was “I wish I stuck with Samsung when upgrading to OLED.”

Has anyone else had the same problem as me regarding the 'like' button on the YouTube app on my Oled77g7v? There is a thumbs up button and a thumbs down button for each video. These icons are supposed to be just an outline unless you click on them and then they fill in to show you have selected them. However, this no longer works on my TV. It is as if you never clicked. In fact, the 'like' icon is always pre_filled, no matter what I do. This used to work properly and it still works correctly on a Sony TV I have. Any ideas would be very welcome!
