LG 49UH6030 - HDR effect setting

Recommended Posts

Is the HDR effect picture mode setting HDR upscaling?

The HDR setting adjusts from "Low" "Medium" "and "High".  But when the movie or game is HDR already this setting show Vivid, Standard..........and so on.

What is the differences of this HDR effect compared to if the video display was already being broadcasted in HDR itself?

    • Question: Streaming 4K content with high bitrate

Hi.  I've got a LG OLED C7 with smart IP TV app. I'm having trouble watching 4k movies with high bitrates ( some movies have bitrates higher than 80mpbs). I already connected the TV with wifi AC (5Ghz) instead of ethernet connection (which has only 100mbps port).   My internet connection has a speed of 200mbps (tested on tv browser).  Nevertheless I'm struggling playing those 4k high bitrate movies. Every few minutes it buffers. What can be the problem? The TV plays high bitrate movies from USB or bluray and the internet speed should be enough for those bitrates.  Is it possible to install a gigabit ethernet port in the pcmcia port? Thanks for your help.

    • Remeber Sound Out setting

Some times when turning the TV on, it reverts to the initial value Sound Out setting  : Internal TV Speakers. It should stay at the value that was selected when it was turned of last. (normally i use Internal TV Speakers +Audio Out (optical).

    • picture in picture (pip) - feature request

I bought a new webos lg tv. I like the style, integration and simplicity of it. Only I miss one feature that I would expect on a new smart TV and that is a picture-in-picture (pip) feature. I understand that's a new platform for tv and some features are still new or in development. I hope this feature would be on an future update. Could we make a request on the development team of LG?
