@Sudesh You cannot change the FIRMWARE on the TV to get the different country, it is actually changed by a setting, or by using a "service remote" (can be purchased from Amazon).

Have a read of this article, and if your TV is an "Asian" variant/build, then you MIGHT be able to select "India" this way, if not, you may have to obtain a service remote, and use the India country/area code that is 4816.

I have the same issue. My LG 65" Curved UHD 3D TV i bought from UAE... I am not able to see the India specific apps in the LG Store. I tried to update the firmware but there is no firmware update either. How do I change the Country remains an issue for me too.

I also moved from UAE to India and had same issue. To fix it, read on:

I just did the same for my 2x 65" UHD Smart LG TV. The trick is to use the Service Remote Control for LG TV. It is available on Amazon for Rs. 500.

From the Service Remote, Look for ADJ Button which is above the 4-way navigation buttons and left of "X Studio" button.  At the password prompt enter 0413 as password. Now inside the ADJ Menu, you will see "Area Option" Select this and Enter "4816" as Area code for India. Press OK, Restart the TV and go to Settings.

Settings-> General- > Location -> Service Country and you will see India in there. Select India and follow the prompts. Once the TV restarts, check for update and you should get the latest firmware which in my case is 05.30.xx

You will see add LG Content Store with lot more apps there like "netflix, Prime, Zee5, Wion, Hungama, etc." I am still trying to get Disney Hotstar and SonyLiv... will update once I get it.

reply back or write to me at [email protected] for details.

I am trying to change my tv region from middle East to USA but changing won't take effect

I've just updated my LG 55UM75 TV to the latest software version - 05..20.15 - and now the picture looks off.
I've turned off TruMotion, Motion Eye Care, Smooth Gradation, Noise Reduction and Smooth Gradation, but somehow everything still looks artificial.
Is there another picture setting I'm missing, I've gone through every setting I can find.

Hello, I know that other LG WebOS users have the same problem as me, but I can't find a solution on the web.
Perhaps one of you experts can help me.
Shortly: manually sort the app icons on my LG Smart TV (OLED77C55LA) and place the “TV Channels” icon in the first position (on the left, to be clear). Before all the others (e.g. Netflix, PlutoTV, Prime, etc.), but when I turn off the TV for a few hours and turn it back on, I find the “TV Channels” icon in last position.
I have tried putting it in second position, third position and so on, but every time I turn it back on, I find it in last position.
      Can anyone help me?
      Thank you.

      Hi All,
I have an LG Oled65C554, I know I I can rearrange the apps screen. What I cannot seem to figure out is how to arrange/re-arrange the smart hub lay.

On the left I have the Input and a scroll, however on the right side I have a BIG part that takes LG smart divices en IOT-devices which is empty as I don't have ohte LG appliances.
I woul like to get rid of the right part on the screen or even better add my hoemkit devices to the dashboard(not sure if that will be possible).
      Anyone who got this working?

I've update 2 of my LG Digital signage TVs (Model 65UH5J-HP) to the latest firmware (3.74.00). Before updating I was able to access the admin menu using "000000" as the default PWD. After updating, I am no longer able to use that default password to access the admin menu. It's giving me a message saying "Incorrect password (Same number repeated). Please try again"
      I tried to usual suspects:
      123456
      654321
      111111
      666666
No bueno  - anyone got any insights?  LG corporate support was unable to help either.
