I have setup a home network in Windows 10, I think it uses DLNA. I can play all the files from the computer or the USB stick in the router with no issue but the external subtitles (correctly named) are not working in my 65C9, only internal ones.
If I access the same files in the network from a computer, there is no problem and subtitles are shown, it's only the TV not displaying them.
Can someone help in how to make external subs work when played from a local network or what to check?

I recently updated the firmware on my LG43UH610V. Now I constantly get "Wired Lan cable disconnected" / "Wired network is connected" messages even while watching a video file from my NAS. The TV is connected and using the network while getting these messages. It has always been on a fixed IP address on the LAN.
If I play an MKV video from a USB drive that contains multiple subtitle tracks with correct language tags, will webOS automatically select the appropriate subtitles, for example based on the TV interface language or the country where the TV is being used? Or it will just select first one/makred as fefault?
Latest version of sun NXT app version 8.0.20 is not working for web os Tv version 4.4.2-11 plz do the needful full & Airtel Xstream is not found in your web os platform kindly check on that too
So basically I just got a new LG OLED TV (55 inch C5) and my Dad's C4 was seemingly able to display internal or embedded subtitles in TV shows through the built-in media player from external USB storage just fine with some tinkering in the menus.
But with mine, the subtitles are displaying all of the raw text in the subtitle files in the player, not using the arguments properly at all.
Pictures included for reference
Is there any way to fix this other than literally doing subtitles for every episode externally, in a seperate file?
These subtitles work fine when I play from the exact same storage device on my phone through VLC, and again on my Dad's LG TV
I'm not getting any audio from the apps via the HDMI via ARC connection to my receiver. This occurred two weeks ago and was unable to resolve it, but ironically there was new firmware released that same day for my B6 (3/31/17) and this fixed the issue. However, now I again can't get it working after a TV reset and tinkering with the audio settings again. I tried to load the firmware again, but it appears this is not possible to forceable load the same firmware.
