65C9 firmware 05.00.10 - Photo and Video app Black Screen

I have updated my OLED65C9PLA firmware to 05.00.10 today, since then when I launch the Photo and Video app (the app that comes with the TV), I only get a black screen :(

Has anyone had the same issue ?

Anyone on this ? I  see other people got the 05.00.03, I don't know why the 05.00.10 was pushed on my TV, and what contains this version.  I live in France.

I was using the Photo & Video app to read directly from my NAS, it was working like a charm before this

Same problem here! Is there any way to fix this? Photo & Video app was working fine until the 05.00.10 update

Hi, I solved this by hard rebooting my TV, using the button and unplugging from the wall for 10min.

Hi! Nice to hear you got it fixed. What do you mean by "using the button"?

I used the mecanical button on the TV to switch it off, keeping the button pressed for a few seconds (didn't use the remote as usual)

Ok, i've just unplugged the tv and it seems to work fine. Thanks for the tip Rovba

That’s great news if this fixes the issue.....I continually get a reminder to do the update, I always chose NO, but suddenly it said “ completing update don’t turn your TV off “ so I immediately turned it off, then got the message “ do you want to resume update or cancel ?” I chose cancel and now the update has ceased 👍👍👍 

has anyone told LG about this ? If so any reply ?
