How do I record a series that is on for a few weeks using USB drive?

This works only:

• if you receive the serie using the antenna;
• use a usb drive and not a flash drive

Hello: I bought a USB drive but I can only record the programme I am watching.  I want to watch a program and record at the same time on another channel.   I have an IG Smart TV connected by Freesat satellite so I am not sure what equipment I need to be able to do this?

The problem is that your tv probably only has one receiver so it is not possible to record and watch at the same time.

The only thing you can do is record while you are not watching for example when you are away.
