Great picture but how to fix lip sync problem, only on ABC network channels, coming from Spectrum Hawaii?  Same cable box into my older Panasonic Plasma, using same HDMI cable: do NOT see lip sync problem.  What am I missing, or what is different coming in on the cable that bothers the LG set but does not   bother the Panasonic TV?

I have the lip sync problem too and based on my search for an answer there are lots of people who have this problem.  The one workaround I have found is turning off the Dolby sound output from my directv box and changing it to PCM.   Of course this means I have no Dolby sound to go along with the beautiful picture, but at least the sound is not 5 seconds behind that picture.  It sure would be nice if someone from LG would post something about this, if not a solution then at least an explanation of the problem.

Nothing less than a Solution will be satisfactory to me. Spent premium price; expect premium picture AND at least synchronized sound. Let us hope that "Life's Good" and also get the sound good. (It is also my opinion that the so-called owners manual is less than Meager.)

A long time ago I also had this problem (but I don't think it was with the LG tv). What I had to do was set the screen mode on 'game' or 'movie'. This way the tv doen't process the image and the delay is minimal.

Hope this helps.

Contacted Costco Concierge service AGAIN, finally got some action! They contacted LG Tech support (professional level tech support, not consumer level tech support?), they in turn contacted local TV repair shop, which I presume is under contract with LG and/or Costco. Technician brought proprietary hand held remote control (which required LG provided 4 digit pin to activate/log in to control my set. Changed an audio setting from something to PCM -problem solved. Wish that LG had provided the ability to change that setting with my personal remote.

I guess so, but that is better than bad sync. Built in speakers are not really super fidelity anyway; and my old ears probl'y don't need dolby sound. But I should keep searching for a better fix..

Woke up this morning to discover that I too have sound sync issues on my 8 month old LG 49SJ800V.  To say I'm unimpressed would be an understatement particularly considering that it's only the internal speakers I'm using and not some external source such as a soundbar.

I Googled the issue and tried a number of tips, the most popular being fiddling with the AV Sync Adjustment. Upon adjustment the sound and picture will sync up but only for a few seconds before it loses sync again.  The problem is compounded by the sheer number of sound options and permutations required to be gone through in order to try and find a solution including software update enquiries.

I eventually waved the white flag and rang  LG Customer services. Long story short, I was advised to go to the 'General' setting and select 'Reset to Initial Settings'. I did as advised with all the brouhaha associated with setting up the TV from scratch again (internet settings, picture adjustment etc) and the problem appears to have been resolved - for now.

Hopefully that's the problem sorted but if there are any unwanted further developments I'll post again.

The sound and picture are out of sync when screen mirroring from my iPhone 16 Pro to my LGQNED70A6A TV, using the internal speaker. I have tried all the recommended tips in the settings to cure the issue with no success. However, when I isolate the TV from the mains supply for 60 seconds and restart it, the syncing issue is cured but degrades after a day or so. My iPhone software is up to date and there is no firmware upgrade available for the TV. My LinkSys router has a full fibre connection. The only connection into the TV is the mains supply. Any help much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

      Hello Team,
My newly purchased 75-Inch Class QNED 4K LED QNED85T series TV with webOS 24 has a setup box and soundbar connected via HDMI. It automatically returns to HDMI input when I move between home and any app (like YouTube, Prime, etc.). It appears to automatically detect and switch to the HDMI input always. The soundbar attached to the HDMI was disconnected if I turned off Simplink (HDMI-CEC). There doesn't seem to be a way to disable auto sensing option. It appears that LG TVs lack a function or problem.
I have a Hisense TV with the same setup, and it functions perfectly. I have no trouble switching between apps and controlling devices connected via HDMI.

It would be amazing to be able to use the Philips HUE and synchronize the lights with the video and audio of the LG TV.
      Thanks

After recent software update of LG OS software update 03.51.15, there is constant problem with Date.  Date is not setting properly and getting defaulted, due to which browser and most of the apps are not working.. Have tried to reset to original settings and remove automatic date setting option then tried setting manually.. but every day its resetting to old date.

I've just purchased an OLED48 C44 LA which comes with a US 60T soundbar. I've connected the soundbar to the HDMI earc socket. Because my hearing isn't too good I'd like to also have some heaphones plugged into the 3.5mm socket so that both the hdmi earc and 3.5mm socket have sound simultaneously. I've been into accessablity menu and the listen together option doesn't appear to offer both hdmiearc and 3.5 mm simultaneously. Has anyone found a solution to this problem?
just to be clear, There is a setting which permits TV speakers plus wired external headphones. I just haven't found a setting which allows HDMI earc soundbar plus wired headphones.
