SEOUL, Oct. 30, 2025 — LG Electronics (LG) and Ubisoft are collaborating for the upcoming launch of one of the most popular music-based dance video game, Just Dance Now, on LG Smart TVs. The official trailer will debut at Paris Games Week 2025, with service availability starting sequentially from December 2025 through LG Gaming Portal in North America and Europe.* This collaboration will let LG Smart TV owners in supported markets dance along to their favorite Just Dance routines – no console required.
With over 135 million players worldwide, Just Dance Now offers dynamic choreography of hundreds of songs. LG Smart TVs running webOS 22 or later will provide easy access to this extensive library. To celebrate the launch, LG TV users will enjoy exclusive access to a limited-time Just Dance map featuring Money Pull Up, a viral track with tens of millions of streams worldwide.
LG Smart TV users will be able to play for free Just Dance Now for a limited time each day, providing a chance to experience the fun of dancing along to popular tracks on their TVs. Those who wish to keep playing can extend their access with a subscription or by purchasing song packs.
Players can enjoy countless hours of dancing with friends and family by simply using the LG Magic Remote, without the need for additional controllers or a gaming console. Issue
Whenever I start any video—whether it’s streaming apps, HDMI input, or a USB movie—the SC9S plays for a minute or two, then suddenly loses connection. Audio instantly falls back to the TV’s internal speakers, and the TV acts like the soundbar no longer exists on the eARC port. The soundbar display still shows “eARC” (sometimes flips to “OPT/ARC” for a second), but no sound.
Temporary Fix
The only thing that gets audio back is power-cycling the TV (standby isn’t enough; full reboot required). After that, the bar reconnects… until the next random dropout. This can happen multiple times during a single movie, which is a great way to kill the vibe.
What I’ve Tried
New HDMI 2.1-certified cable (same result, so original cable seems fine).
Disabled Quick Start+ and Simplink in the TV settings, then re-enabled.
Factory-reset both TV and soundbar.
Tested ARC instead of eARC—works, but no Atmos and same occasional dropout.
Plugged the soundbar into a different power outlet (in case of power spike).
Observed Patterns
Dropouts happen sooner with Dolby Atmos or DTS content, but even stereo YouTube videos eventually cut out.
No obvious heat buildup; bar is in open air, front facing.
Happens whether soundbar is wall-mounted or on its stand.
Questions for the Hive Mind
Anyone else seeing eARC instability with the SC9S on the UP77 series?
Could this be a handshake timing bug on the TV’s HDMI board?
Any hidden service-menu tweaks or firmware betas worth trying?
Should I just RMA the bar, or is the TV the real diva here?

Hello,
I have a new C4 TV.
Here is the problem I am facing, as well as a suggestion for improvement.
When you have an acoustic deficiency, it is much easier to use a headset (via bluetooth).
But the only current option is to switch the sound to the internal speakers when you activate the bluetooth.
It is still a shame to penalize other people who watch TV by no longer allowing the use of a good sound installation that you have (sound bar, ...) because a person needs an acoustic aid.
Would it be possible to add this combination (optical output + bluetooth) to satisfy everyone?
I add that I tried to place an optical splitter to combine the 2, however, there is a bug apparently because as soon as you turn off the headset, there is a white rectangle which probably indicates an error that appears very briefly but every few seconds, which makes TV viewing impossible.

I really love the tv and webos is great so far but I have just a few questions about getting everything set up. First of all I have a HD comcast set top box which I use to get the HD channels and on Demand content from comcast. The setup for the TV instructs that I connect the coax from the wall directly to the TV, doin this I dont get any channels except for the generic call comcast to get your startup kit commercial. Everything works fine using the HDMI from the cable box to the tv, except I have to change to the HDMI input to watch regular cable tv and I dont get access to the my channels or guide on the webos. Is there any work around for this or am I just going to have to deal with switching to the HDMI input to watch live tv and comcast on demand? Also, is there any way to connect a bluetooth keyboard (through the USB port)? and I have a samsung soundbar, this may be a long shot but it would be nice if it can be set up with the lg remote, otherwise I guess I am going to be buying a harmony. Thanks for the help!
