If that's a 2013 model, the feedback we are hearing is no because of the hardware differences. Only 2014 models that shipped with webOS I believe. Here's to hoping that changes!

I believe it supports earlier lg smart TVs.
Photo and Video beaming is supported by Connect SDK v1.2 on webOS, LG Smart TV '13, LG Smart TV '12, Roku, and Chromecast.

LG smart WebOS TV sales surpass 1m mark
LG Electronics, one of the largest manufacturers of consumer appliances in the world, said Sunday that sales of its latest smart WebOS TVs surpassed the 1 million mark, just three months after the product reached consumers.
The company said its latest smart TV sets are sold in 45 countries around the world, with sales in North and Latin America hitting 320,000 units. Sales in Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States, or a bloc of former Soviet states, also reached 380,000 units, the company said.
The TVs that first reached the South Korean market in late February place the greatest importance on easy user experience to overcome the “excessively complicated” operating systems of existing smart TVs.
Streamlining the operating system also enhances the responsiveness and speed of LG’s WebOS vis-a-vis other products on the market, the electronics giant claimed.
LG said it aims to expand sales to 150 countries by the end of the year and wants to sell 10 million units by the first half of 2015. According to market researcher DisplaySearch, the world’s smart TV market reached 73.1 million units in 2013, with numbers likely to rise to over 83.2 million this year. Is there a place where we can file bugs?
Not as of now, but if you think it makes sense, we can create a forum/section for bugs, which hopefully LG and others will see. Just a reminder, we are not affiliated with LG, but are only a webos user-to-user forum.

The point was that I took a look at the LG Australia site to see if there was any info and posted a link for you or anyone else to check in the future.
This is a user to user webos forum, not LG. If you were looking for official LG response, my suggestion would be to contact them directly.

I believe you can run an update from the app if you download it on your phone.

Have you seen this topic: http://www.lgwebos.com/topic/1460-webos-vs-old-smarttvs-menu/?p=1687? Maybe it could help on your situation.

I don't see any mention on the LG Australia site: http://www.lg.com/au/tv-home-entertainment

HI Alex I know it's great news, I've just fired of some questions my self to LG asking about webOS and the current range of 2013 TV'S, hopefully all 2013 duel core processors tv's should receive the webOS update after all it makes sense if LG want to keep their customers coming back and buying more of their range. I'll be picking up a 4k tv at the end of the year so if they want my returning business they hopefully won't leave their existing customers out of any future software updates.
Well said! If you get a list, please post it up..

Added a sub forum for LG Store discussions: http://www.lgwebos.com/forum/37-lg-store-tv-webos-apps/
Also added a sub forum under than for a listing of apps we can all provide feedback and review: http://www.lgwebos.com/forum/38-webos-tv-apps-reviews/
For the second, I added 4 new topics for 4 apps and ask that if anyone adds an app listing/topic, just use the app title as the topic title and they will all be listed in alphabetical order as posted. I turned on the rating system for that section so we can use it as an app review.

Posted
That was brought up in another post about the fact that anyone can access your Facebook account on the tv as an issue. Hopefully there will be a better solution.
