I downloaded the Bing Map app on my pixi plus. Glad to see that HP is not forgetting about legacy and older devices. It also installed enyo, which could mean some enyo apps for older devices?

I'm waiting for these to drop in price.

I finally received my Touchpad in the mail after the 6-8 weeks I had to wait. It's charging now. I set it ll up and downloaded some apps. Wish there were more ofcourse...

Since there is no gesture area, one thing I hate is the no "Back" gesture. How to you go back in an app?

I received a shipping notification email that the my touchpad has been shipped! Should be getting it sometime this week...

i believe i would still need a sim card as well i thinks !

For the GSM model yes, but for CDMA it should work without I think. I have yet to try it myself on a pre that I have.

I called HP small business shopping to check the order of my Touchpad and cancelled pre 2 phone, they told me that they have 15 or 16 of teh HP veers in stock, you have to call their toll free number.

So HP has been angering investors and now had to hire Goldman Sachs to fend off any unwanted buyout attempts, especially from Oracle. But supposedly, Oracle can;t make any attempts until next year as part of a dela when they got Mark Hurd, former CEO of HP. Stock prices have dropped, and it's making a buyout appealing to some tech firms.

There are 2 auctions currently for the Verizon pre3 on ebay, but bith are trending pretty high, and higher than the GSM ATT versions:

I have a couple of them, yes they can be addictive...lol.

I read on precentral that some people who received thsi letter are starting to get their Touchpads from HP.

So the latest rumor now is that Amazon is heavily involved in a buyout attempt of webOS...

I have to agree on that. News is slow in webos land, I am keeping my fingers crossed for some new direction.

If its not rumors of new hardware then webOS in the consumer point of view will die !

This is the sad truth.

The pre 2 on ebay seems to be going up in price, I suppose it's demand and lack of quantity.

Yesterday I received the official cancellation emailabout my verizon pre 2....looks like I'mstuck on my pixi,not sure what I'mgoing to do. Needed a verizon handset.

I don't think anyone wants webos at this point. Rumors are drying up. Hopefully we'll get some new rumors this coming week...lol.

The AT&T and Verizon Pre 3 phones showed up on ebay yesterday, there's an articcle on webosroundup about it. That means that they exist and someone go their hands on them!

These are getting email cancellations all over the place.

Just got an email stating that my pre2 order was cancelled. No pre2 for me. Don't know how long I will be able to live on a verizon pixi plus....

Gotta give us a good review of the Pre3 with some pics, I've never even seen one! The Veer also...
