I have problems with one of my WebOS TVs which looks like a speed problem, but when I do a speed check on my iPhone from just a few feet away the connection speed looks fine. Thanks, Bob
Some tutorials explain how to do it.
We first need to root the TV with scripts such as RootMyTV, and then install dts_restore.
Both tools are free and available at github.
I'm not writing the links because I don't know if it's allowed in this forum and because I take no responsibility.
My question is:
Has anybody tried this process? Does it work?
The documentation says if you have any problem you can just factory reset the TV, but I don't dare to do it.
I have problems with an old TV (42LB630V-ZA); the TV is working fine after start complete
but it doesn't start completely always; it display the logo and don't finish the boot
after multiple tries it starts and working fine until next start
is it posssible to re-write the software? now is at the last firmware available for this model Version 05.05.75
is here somebody to advise me how to get this resolved?
the local suport for lg is unable to resolve (I am wonder if they understand it or don't want to do it)
