Echo from internal speak+Audio out (optical)

maninblack2000

Question

I have a 55" Tv and a LG soundbar, i have put the soundbar behind where I sit, basically so my TV doesnt have to be up so loud. Its connected with a optical cable. I changed the sound setting on the TV so the sound output is 'Internal speaker audio output (optical) This works perfectly for an hour or so but then it develops a faint echo effect? If i change the setting to just internal or one of the other settings, then change it back, its fine again for a while, but then the echo comes back? Anyone know why this is?

I have tried every setting i can find but it still happens?

I recently updated the firmware on my  LG43UH610V.  Now I constantly get "Wired Lan cable disconnected" / "Wired network is connected" messages even while watching a video file from my NAS. The TV is connected and using the network while getting these messages. It has always been on a fixed IP address on the LAN.

So for everyone that has a smart TV, do you still have cable service with a cable box? I'm in the US, so mostly interested to see if people are migrating away from Comcast, Verizon Fios, and services like that with a cable box to streaming services like Direct TV Now, Hulu, Youtube TV, Sling, etc.
I have Verizon Fios currently and need to use their equipment. I'm noticing more and more that we aren't watching scheduled tv anymore and just "whenever" watching. My two young children mostly watch youtube these days.  So I'm thinking of youtube TV maybe? Not sure.

      Hello,
I connected an hard drive to my LG OLED TV via USB. My TV is connected to my home network via Ethernet, as is my computer.
I would like to access the hard disk from my computer. Is this possible? How can I do this with Windows 10?
Note that I don't want to connect my hard drive directly to my computer but to my TV (because my home network is quite unstable).
I thank you in advance for all your help.

I am trying to setup my new Phonak my hearing aids TV Connector with my new LG GP2 TV and Sonos Arc sound bar, connected by via the HDMI eArc port.   The TV automatically uses the the HDMI eArc port, and that port only.  As a result no signal goes through the optical out port of the LG TV.
Is there a way to make the LG TV sound signal simultaneously go out to both the sonud bar via eArc port and to the Phak TV Connector via the optical out port so that I can connect hearing aids to the Phonak TV connector and also use the Sonos Arc soundbar at the same time?
      Appreciate any guidance.
      Thanks, M55

      Hey guys,
While I have Sonos Beam gen2 connected to my LG 65C12LA via HDMI (eARC) I can’t select any other output device e.g. bluetooth headphones. I can technically select it in TV menu for like 5 seconds, and then output switched back to HDMI (eARC). Is it a bug or feature?
      Thanks in advance!
