Hello, the wifi of my smart TV is broken since the last update.
The remote control from my phone too when i use an opérational ethernet connection.

Tried :
Full setting reset
Reboot
Power reset

Observed :
After the power reset and unplugged during at least 10 min, the WiFi networks was at new listed but impossible to connect, it says WiFi network not found.
After a new power off, the searching of wifi networks didn't end without result.
The remote control also lag a lot each 10 seconds and during 3 or 4 seconds.

TV Informations :
Model : 49SJ800V-ZB
Devide Name : [LG] webOS TV SJ800V
Serial Number : 711MAVDM8903
webOS TV Version : 3.9.0-62709 (dreadlocks2-dudhwa)
MAC  Wired : 38:8C:50:F3:2B:5D
MAC Wireless : 7C:1C:4E:A0:E8:C7

ESN : LGTV20171=11002626448
VSN : 5DBF066A
Widevine : LGTV17CLGE005126094

Question :
Is there a way to downgrade by putting the firmware on a USB Key with a FAT 32 filesystem on to be sure it could be read by the TV ?

Thank you in advance for your help.

LG WiFi modules burn like matches from static, AC surges, or unexpected AC loss.

Older model also had bad connectors.

It seems, LG uses intentionally weak WiFi-module circuit for phasing out TVs of older non-serviced models. (See Wiki: "Sony timer").

It is very rude, since Philips just uses "grease leaking" remote controls, which become sticky and slimy after 4-5 years, telling you to buy a new TV. On the other hand, Asus uses non-cooled transistor RF switches in their routers, which degrade in 2-4 years, effectively disconnecting the antenna from the transciever...At least LG allows you to watch TV without the magic control.

I have a  42 inch LG OLED evo AI C4 4K Smart TV 2024 with a USE6S soundbar connected via HDMI.
Up until a few days ago, the iPhone app was connected via WiFi. I could use it to control the sound effect.
The sound bar remote could also change the sound effect, and the volume with the volume control visible on the TV screen.
Now the iPhone app does not connect to the soundbar and the remote control doesn't appear to alter the volums: there's no on screen display.
And also, the TV WOWcast output is not 'sticky': that it to say I can select it, and it remains for a time, but drops.

Trying to programme my magic remote to control an Amlogic OTT, however keep getting a ‘temporary issue occurred’ when I try. I’ve been trying for over a week now, so this temporary issue isn’t so temporary!

      Hi,
I recently bought an LG UK6500PLA TV (my first LG), but I have a difficult time streaming content (Wifi connected), e.g. Netflix series is streaming in low resolution.  The router is only 10 feet away from TV (but ethernet is not an option) and uses a 5GH frequency range.
I have tried making a speed test at fast.com, for both the TV (through the Webbrowser) and for my laptop and iPhone. The speed test for TV showed 2.5 Mbps and my laptop and iPhone showed 110 Mbps. Can there really be such a big difference? I am starting to wonder if this might be a warranty issue?
Do any of you guys have experience with bad Wifi reception on your LG TV or have any suggestions on how to fix it?

      Br,
      Nick

My magic remote and my Roku remote stopped working for turning off power so I performed a factory reset after troubleshooting to get the remote working.  I am now stuck at the 1st screen of the Factory Reset which says "Press the OK Button(wheel) on your remote."  Well... this really stinks because the remote doesn't work!!!  I have tried a USB mouse, a new magic remote, other LG Remotes with no luck.  I have also tried using the button on the bottom of the tv.  And, I contacted support which was just an exercise in redoing everything I had already tried... No Luck!!
This is a Nano Cell 55NANO81ANA which is basically just a big brick now since I cannot even use any of the inputs.  Does anyone have a trick for getting past this initial screen???
      Thanks for the help.
