IPTV Smarters not in LG Content Store

Question

Posted

Hi there,

i have an 65oled9flb (webos).

i want to install the app IPTV Smarters Player but i cannot find it in the content store.

I tried different country's for LG Services to obtain it but no one worked.

Any one an idea?

I read that there are different apps in the store regarding what tv you have and which region you are. Does anyone have more information about that? Maybe they didn't support oled tvs or i don't know what else could be the reason.

I have it loaded on my LG tv and have previously used it. It doesn’t obviously hold any programmes itself and I no longer use the supplier. I think from memory try siptv.com. Can’t confirm at this minute but will post if I have further info

Hi @JonnyFlores

It is not a case of an app being 'enabled' for webOS, it would have to be written especially for the platform by Smarter and submitted to LG for inclusion in the store.  So if you want an app contacting the manufacturer is the way to go as this is a user-to-user forum and unclear that LG or content providers actually spend any time here.

I get it, But why is it available for some users and not for others?

Maybe this depends on your model number. But, that should not.

When you search for IPTV Smarters show a photograph of the results here.

If you can see Smarters at the LG Content Store you should be able to install.

Seeing the application in the LG Content Store is not unfortunate.

Hello , There is no setting to select subtitles for series and movies, I tried clicking on the colors on the remote, but nothing worked, I poked around in settings and found nothing. I sent several emails to the company, but no response was received. I remember that there was an option in the previous version, who has the same problem and what can be done?
