Complete with Next-Gen Cinematic Technologies, LG OLED TVs are Set to Uncover
the Hidden Story and Shine Light on the Action of Prime Video’s Latest Hit Series
SEOUL, April 26, 2023 — Starting this week, LG Smart TV owners worldwide can enjoy Citadel, Prime Video and Amazon Studios’ epic spy-thriller series and the latest global sensation in streaming television. With LG OLED TV’s self-lit technology allowing for deep blacks and life-like color, viewers are placed at the center of the action-packed Citadel universe and can enjoy the show with intended color, aspect ratio and frame rate, thanks to Automatic Filmmaker Mode.* LG OLED TVs also feature Dolby Vision® for stunning ultra vivid picture and incredible immersive Dolby Atmos® sound, which further elevate the cinematic experience.
Starring Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Citadel is set after the fall of the titular spy organization, as two spies attempt to piece together what happened. The two spies embark on a mission that takes them around the world, all while contending with a relationship built on secrets, lies and a dangerous-yet-undying love.
Citadel premieres exclusively on Prime Video on April 28, with two adrenaline-fueled episodes, followed by a new episode released weekly every Friday through May 26. Citadel will be available in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
To mark the launch of the cinematic new television series, Prime Video and LG teamed up to bring the characters and high-tech world of Citadel closer to its fans, through a series of exclusive visuals, rolled out across multiple channels, including online, in-store as well as digital billboards in New York’s Times Square and London’s Piccadilly Circus.

UPDATING YOUR FIRMWARE
The firmware that powers your LG Ultra HD 4K Smart TV with webOS should be updated from time to time to enhance your experience and improve its operation. Thankfully, this can be done easily and quickly, right at home.
Watch this quick video to learn more. Or follow the easy steps below to get started.
HOW OFTEN DO I NEED TO UPDATE MY FIRMWARE?
Firmware updates don't happen frequently, so you should be fine checking for updates every other month.
HOW DO I CHECK FOR, AND DOWNLOAD, AVAILABLE FIRMWARE UPDATES?
Before you do anything, make sure you have an Ethernet cord connected directly from your router to your television. Wireless Internet connections are not reliable enough for firmware updates.
Use this diagram if you need help getting set up:
ONCE YOUR TV HAS A WIRED CONNECTION, DO THE FOLLOWING:
Press the MENU Click SYSTEM SETTINGS Then ABOUT Then SYSTEM UPDATES You'll be advised that your system is currently up to date or requested to select CHECK NOW for the latest update. If a new version is available, it downloads automatically. FIRMWARE UPDATES WILL ALSO UPDATE LG ULTRA HD 4K SMART TV AND LG APPS AT THE SAME TIME.

Hi guys! I have a 55QNED81QA and my question is this:
After software update, how do i restart the webOS without unplugging the TV from outlet ? I don't see a restart option in the menu !
Hi guys. im in the process of purchasing an LG TV.
i concluded on some models and i need your help as the information on the net is confusing and misleading. i was looking these 2 similar models:
the one is
link hidden, please login to view which in my country is advertised as 65NANO826QB and the other one is this which here is also advertised as 65NANO786QA. My first questing is the 766 is Direct lid which from what i have read is better than Edge lid of 816 but 816 is more expensive. im i missing something ? the only thing 816 has is local dimming which from some reviewers that is plain awful on this TV.
My other question is that those TVs are advertised in Europe as 50Hz. How will they cope with YouTube's and Netflix's 60 fps content. I have read somewhere that they can also do 60Hz natively but because of the region they are advertised as 50 but the panel is the same.
Also i came across this one which is about 200 euros more expensive. Does it worth it? im no gamer. The only thing i do is watching movies preferably 4K, sports and racing will it benefit from the 100/120Hz panel and QNED technology?
I updated the software on this LG TV and now no option to turn off WiFi
I need to the WiFi to turn off since they do not want WiFi connected here. I hope there is a way to turn off WiFi.
Can anyone please help me in getting the LG UK series old firmware EPK file?
