Using the You Tube TV app on the LG Web OS. There is a problem that happens on all my 2019 LG TVs with Web OS that does not happen when I use the You Tube TV app on Apple TV with the same TV sets. Periodically the program I am watching stops and the App reverts to the opening screen. It has to be a bug in LG's Web OS working with You Tube TV. I bought 4 large LG TVs because they could support the You Tube App and Samsung could not. LG, you need to look into this and fix it.

I assume everyone has this problem that is using it the way we are. It should be a fixable firmware bug that LG can take care of with an update. Hopefully they will. I will contact You Tube TV. perhaps they can put pressure on LG.

 In my case, when I cast youtube video from mobile phone to TV, it keeps showing "Connecting to LG WebOS TV". In the meanwhile youtube video get launched,  but in phone it keeps showing "Connecting to LG WebOS TV".  This issue suddenly pops up 4 or 5 months back but no resolution till date.

I'm still having the issue while playing from LG TV YTTV app or casting from my phone to LG tv it will randomly revert back to the TV guide or library screen depending on where I started. Been in contact with YouTube TV support providing logs and other data for about 3 months and still no response other than theye are working on it. Please everyone contact them and maybe they'll realize what a big problem it is.

Hi. Don't know if you have found a fix yet but with my 2018 LG C8 I've needed to delete & reinstall YTTV app for WebOS more than once since purchase in August 2018. Not sure but it seemed to happen after the LG had an OS update. HTH

      i have finally fixed the HDMI ARC issue.
      Apparently some people also had the same issue and couldnt figure out whats wrong.
      After reading through AVSForums, I finally understood that LG had a bug in HDMI operation as well..

      The problem happens when your TV is already sending sound through HDMI ARC to a AVR and you try to connect additional sources like dth or blueray player to additional HDMI ports of TV and AVR. Once you add additional sources, you might try to use LG's device connector setting to control the device and this is where HDMI ARC stops working.

      Solution:
      disconnect all hdmi ports of TV and AVR.
      Full reset TV and AVR.
      Only Connect HDMI ARC port of TV with HDMI ARC OUT of AVR. Enable ARC feature on both TV and AVR. Open LG TV internal app,
      and check if sound is coming properly to AVR.
      Now you Connect All additional sources to other HDMI ports of TV and nothing should be connected to AVR.
      You may use LG device connector setting to configure the magic remote to control them.

      MY current setup of TV:
      HDMI 1: Airtel DTH.
      HDMI 2: ARC connected to Denon AVR 1500H.
      HDMI 3: ACT Television(Using this to play hotstar premium content as LG inbuilt APP is not playing it)

      Good news:
      LG magic remote can control all 3 devices seamlessly and thats a great ease for customers.
      I shall appreciate LG for this.

      Apparently, the LG model OLED55CSPUA has an issue with the external device power on/off control. I can configure the IR Bose soundbar well enough, as setup sequence tests it good to control soundbar power. but after exiting the setup, when i press the external device power button on the remote, the TV just wants to cycle through the setup again.  It doesn't toggle soundbar power, just cycles back to the setup.   i have tried factory settings reset and verified that there are no other devices on the TV.

      Since around 10 days, the iptv smarters pro on my lg smart tv, stopped displaying my xaccount details, i tried to remove the app and reinstalled it again, but i'm unable to add new user, though i have a newer lg smart tv, everything is working fine on it
