How to upgrade webOS 2.2.1 to 3 or higher (55UF850T-TB)

Please I need guideline/instruction on how to upgrade the webos on my LG TV 55UF850T-TB to WebOS 3 or higher.

Thank you.

If there is an upgrade available on LG's website then you would be able to upgrade using a USB drive.  However if there is no upgrade available then I am afraid you are stuck with v2.

    • Disney Plus on LG webOS TVs

I was reading a few articles on the launch of Disney Plus but they did not list any of the tvs such as LG webos or samsung tv. I hope disney plus comes out in lg tvs.  Its supposed to launch November 12th in the US for $6.99 a month or $69.99 a year. They also said there will be a $12.99-per-month trio bundle of Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ that is coming. I'm already doing espn for $4.99, I may do the entire bundle to get hulu also, not sure, At the minimum, I am definitely going to get Disney plus

After I installed the recent WebOS firmware update, I ran Netflix and then the app seemed to immediately uninstall from my installed apps on TV (LG E9). I say it is no longer installed, as it does not appear in my installed apps, or app dashboard/bar.  I go to LG content store and attempt to install Netflix app and click "INSTALL",  after downloading, a response is displayed "Application has not been installed, try again".  I repeat with no success. Any help here is appreciated. Is thi

Hi, I'm experiencing some strange changes in how my AppleTV 4K behave after updating the LG [WEBOS] to 05.10.35. I own an OLED65C8PLA LG SoundBar SL10YG When I start an App, it takes much longer time to get it up and to run. When I close the app, the screen turns black and can blink ones or twice and then finally I see the ”Home screen.” Sometimes the screen stays black and I need to restart the AppleTV 4K Device. This behaviour has never occurred before. PS. I have restarted

Hello I have 42B670V-ZA tv bought in 2014. This model has different numbers/letters depending from the distribution area. Mine is for Poland. Software version is 05.05.70, WebOS version is 1.4.0-2532 afro-ashley. This model was made with the intention of upgrading to WebOS 2 and so it was manufactured. In late 2014, once the tv was still on market, European and US (with a different name), LG Korea has announced that this model would not have upgrade. Nevertheless I think it STILL
