The only solution is to buy a cheap android tv hdmi stick. If you compare prices is cheap to buy a cheap lg webos tv+HDMI android stick than others fully integrated android TV with 2-3GB of ram. Mostly cheap android tv came with 1GB or dual core processor, which is pretty slow, lg webos is pretty fast for the processor that the LG tv has.

Also cheap android tv are not frequently updated based on my experience. If you plan to install "3rd party players" and you want 4K and HDR xiaomi tv box is about $50

ok, let me tell you a story. i have three fine lg tv's. but i wanted a larger one for the tv room. so i purchase the lg smart tv so that i could have a bigger tv and to quit using my roku and my firestick. i didn't get the smart tv to keep using them. i have always had lg tv's, like them. but if i had know that i couldn't use the terrarium app on the new tv and i would have purchased a different brand that i really wouldn't have liked as well as the lg.

any other suggestions, short of going getting the different brand?

As Terrarium TV is a free (and depending on your country of residence illegal) way to watch content it is unlikely that LG would allow it in to their app store if anyone could be bothered to port it to webOS.  Currently Terrarium TV is only available for Android devices (choose your download source carefully), so if you do not want an external device plugged in to your TV to run it you will need to purchase a TV running Android TV.

I would like to play MP4 video file from my NAS, is this possible from LG Smart TV? I tried on the TV and did not see how I could do this, I also did not see any App that could help me in this area.

My LG TV is connected to my home network so has direct access to my NAS.

Has anyone else had the same problem as me regarding the 'like' button on the YouTube app on my Oled77g7v? There is a thumbs up button and a thumbs down button for each video. These icons are supposed to be just an outline unless you click on them and then they fill in to show you have selected them. However, this no longer works on my TV. It is as if you never clicked. In fact, the 'like' icon is always pre_filled, no matter what I do. This used to work properly and it still works correctly on a Sony TV I have. Any ideas would be very welcome!

I'm surprised by how few Settings there are.  Is there an Android Settings App?
