Input Select jumps to Live-TV without using remote

MAUICUDA

Question

Hardware: LG OLED55B7P, and Spectrum Cable box. When  I use the Spectrum remote to select "GUIDE"; so I can details about program before selecting to RECORD - whenever I push the Spectrum remote button that says "Guide", the TV at the same time changes my normal input from HDMI to "Live TV".

This is a new problem; am not sure when it started. Will I have to do the LG download again?

THE SPECTRUM REMOTE AND ITS BOX ARE PROPERLY GOING TO THE "GUIDE" FUNCTION WHEN I PRESS "GUIDE" ON THE REMOTE. THE PROBLEM IS THAT WHEN I PUSH THE "GUIDE" BUTTON, IT ALSO CAUSES THE LG  OLED TV TO CHANGE INPUT FROM HDMI TO DIRECT TV (ANTENNA TV). I DO NOT HAVE ANTENNA; AM ONLY USING CABLE BOX TO PROVIDE SIGNAL TO TV. DO NOT SEE HOW ANY CABLE BOX SETTING CAN CAUSE THE TV TO CHANGE INPUT, UNLESS TV IS MALFUNCTIONING, OR REMOTE CONTROL IS PUTTING OUT TWO CONTROLS AT THE SAME TIME; IE: TURN ON "GUIDE" FUNCTION, AND AND CHANGE INPUT TO ANTENNA, EVEN WITHOUT SELECTING INPUT FUNCTION WITH THE LG REMOTE FIRST.

Brand new LG TV (WebOS 8x) WILL NOT stay off when turned off with the remote?  Out of the box, connected to internet, seems to have been updated, and working fine.  But when I hit the power off with the remote, the TV reports 'Life is Good' seems to turn off, i.e. go into standby, and then a few seconds later, turns back on.  If the device connected to the TV on the last active HDMI port is OFF, I get the No Signal warning.  So I know the active HDMI input is not generating any signal.  I want to believe that any other device on any other HDMI port might be an issue? But then the TV would switch to that HDMI port, no?  This is really an issue!  If I use the phone app I can turn off the TV and it seems to stay off, at least does not come back on in a few seconds like the remote?  If I send 'standby' via HDMI-CEC, that seems to work as well, the TV seems to stay in standby mode.  This a bug?

      Hi,
      New user on here.
I bought this new TV last week and it is honestly driving me bananas.
When I click "Home" after using an App, etc, it brings me to the WebOS interface but then automatically selects the last used device (e.g. Fire stick, LG Channels, etc) despite me not wanting it to.
Is it possible to disable this, i.e. "Home" brings me to WebOS and stays there? I'm sure its a setting etc which I'm missing.
Device is LG UQ91 43 inch 4K Smart UHD TV, pretty sure its all up to date.
      Thanks in advance.

Smart remote constantly disconnects. I’ve pushed home and back button and when trying to setup remote receive error message “Bluetooth service needs to be inialized”
Ive tried everything suggested on the internet to include turning off tv waiting 15,30,60 seconds and trying again. Eventually it will reset up but then will will disconnect. Extremely frustrating and tv is really unusable when this happens. The worst is getting into a streaming app and the remote fails and can’t get out without turning tv off. I would list tv model # but since I started this message remote has disconnected again. Help very much appreciated
      thx

I recently updated the firmware on my  LG43UH610V.  Now I constantly get "Wired Lan cable disconnected" / "Wired network is connected" messages even while watching a video file from my NAS. The TV is connected and using the network while getting these messages. It has always been on a fixed IP address on the LAN.
