Hi there,
I have an LG smart TV OLED65G36LA (LG OS v03.20.17, webOS TV version 8.20.0-710) , and the Prime Video App was no longer able to update (from Dec 2025) and therefore could no longer be used.
I have tried uninstalling the app and re-installing, and that was unable to work, so then applied a full reset on the LG TV and so had to reinstall all of my other apps (Apple TV, Netflix, etc etc) which all successfully downloaded so confirmed network connections and setup are all confirmed working.
When I try to download the Prime Video app, it remains stuck on the download screen and is unable to update.
Thanks

Hello there!
Recently the prime video app started to require the update to open, and now i am having a problem, because this app update REQUIRES to a system update of firmware (to webos24),
but it will make impossible to homebrew later.
So, can someone at least provide the last or update ipk of amazon (amazon.ipk), so i can install manually?
Thanks!

Hello,
It would be nice to have an ability to play video (not only?) content from folder in shuffle mode.
Thanks.

Our LG TV does not show files properly when a new file is added in a directory.
We have a Synology diskstation ethernet drive with DLNA and if we download a new file (in the dedicated download folder) or we copy a file from a PC to a folder, the file is not seen in the LG TV.
Sometimes it's there in few minutes, sometimes it's not visible for days! turn on&off is not working.
If we want to watch a video we need to load it on a USB stick, which is definitely not nice in 2019.
Looking at synology forums the DLNA file list should be automatically updated when a new file is added, is there any way to force refresh from LG app?
Thanks

Question
Michal Římal
I am running LG 32LJ610V (webos 3.5) in combination with WD Mybook World Edition (white ring).
The default media server installed on WD Mybook is TwonkyMedia 5.1.9 but it does not support seeking in video files.
Any suggestions which media server to use? When I am playing the same video file from PC Windows 10 via file sharing it works fine.
What type of mass storage device are you using and which is working fine? (connected to home network)
Thank you
