Good evening all,
Via WebOS, i have tried to download an .avi file but i got a message similar to "Downloading file is not supported" from the browser.
I would like to find a way (via another app, via an external device or whatever) to download a media file into my TV or USB drive plugged-in. Then, I would like the TV to play that downloaded file.
Any idea how to do this ?
In other words, today, what I do:
- download a media file from the web with my computer (700mo)
- copy the media into an USB drive
- unplug the usb drive from my computer
- plug the usb drive into my TV
- play the media to watch it with my TV
I would like to avoid using my computer to watch my downloaded media on my TV.
Thanks,
Manbboy

Hi Everyone,
OK, so what does it take to have full Chromecast support in LG TVs (webOS)?
a. Either builtin support.
b. Via webOS app.
The goal / use is simple as any other Chromecast device / TV: be able to say to "hey Google, play this video/music from service-X to LG-TV".
Looking forward to good news and your thoughts.
Thanks,

Hey everyone, I am working on DRM integration in LG TVs. I want to know which DRM levels will work in LG TVs. If the DRM levels work, then how can I find out which DRM level is present for a particular LG device. Could someone please help me with this? Any little info will be helpful. Thanks in advance

Hi, today I've lost about 8 hours trying find out how to open an rtsp of an IP camera into a new 65" OLED TV, which is updated to the latest FW. Tons of apps for IPTV but none of them is able to open a working/tested RTSP, also including it into a playlist m3u file. Nobody in this world has thought to display an RTSP on a LG TV? Looks unbelievable.
I've read a bout "webOS Signage and LG" but no ide how to implement it, install it, nowhere it is described.
I need to display an rtsp stream on LG tv, I have the chance only woth an external device by HDMI or DLNA? That's a shame..
Thank you for help
