Unable to use Screenshare or WiDi with Laptop?

Question

I am using lg webos tv 65UB950T.

I am unable to connect my TV to my laptops , one on windows 7 and other on 8.1

Tv doesnot show up on search, if it does(sometimes) when connected only decline button is shown on TV screen(no accept button)

When connecting through TV no message appears on Laptop for connection acceptance.

I have no problem viewing my mobile contents.

Any suggestions???????????/

hi...wi-fi direct not is for you want....search into tv screenshare and use it. You laptop work using Intel WIDI software and this soft use miracast (screenshare). So,again.Yoy tv have  WI-FI direct technology and Miracast (Screenshare) technology on TV and in laptop have Intel WIDI technology. Connect laptop to tv using Miracast and work fine.Into TV browse to Screenshare, not to wifi direct.Succes

I have LG TV 55LF652V-ZA, serial 603WRFSME603, software 04.04.45  (now 04.05.56) that used to accept Miracast fine until a few months ago. I use Lenovo Helix laptop. Until a recent (2 weeks ago) webos update the message I got on TV was 'Your device has been disconnected'. Now the error message is better, saying 'STREAMING PROBLEM. Your Helix is successfully connected with your TV but there is a problem with its screen. Please make sure whether the Helix is working and please properly set up and connected.'
The phone support was not very helpful (asking to check the refresh rate of the laptop screen, change wifi channel, besides the reconnection, etc). So what are the additional ideas to get Miracast working? What are the settings in the laptop that are relevant and can be changed?
Miracast from phone to TV works.
Note that it used to work fine until a few months ago.

      Hi everyone!

I used to mirroing my TV LG LH6000 with my Galaxy S5 with no problem and just in the first try,  until I updated the webOS version to 3.20.40. After that, it's impossible. Every attempt ends with "can't connect. Try again".

Anyone passed to the same issue? There's other method I can use to mirroing my cell to the tv? Thanks in advance!
