Good Morning,

There is a recommended minimum distance between the TV and the viewer. 

I bought an LG OLED C155 last month and it is uncomfortable from a distance. 
It was my mistake. I bought it without worrying about visual comfort.

Is it possible to reduce the screen's usable area to simulate a screen size TV of 48 inches or less, 
accepting the black borders that would be created?

It would be something similar to a custom aspect ratio. 
The idea would be to be able to simulate a smaller screen size than the purchased equipment.

I would love to see this - it is beyond frustrating watching anything non-4k on my 75" LG B2 OLED. If I could make the screen smaller, the picture would improve significantly. I even use the preview sometimes on the home page to watch sports. If I would have known that all the non-4k materials would look equivalent to watching on VHS, I would have never bought it. Great for gaming and 4K though.

      Bought a new C4 OLED but i get black screens randomly when using internal streaming apps or just going back to the home menu. It seems as if WEBOS is crashing and i can only cut power and reboot when this happens...

      LG TV Stuck Blank White Screen with Sound

      Hey everyone,
      I have had LG TV for just two years. Last weekend, when I turned it on, it showed a blank white screen but was still illuminated, with sound working. No LG logo or image appeared. I unplugged the TV and held the power button for 30 seconds while it was unplugged, and the screen issue fixed the issue for a week. 
      However, the same white screen problem has now returned, and the power reset trick no longer works.
      Should I contact a local TV repair technician or reach out to LG customer support first?  Any advice?

      I have LG oled 55b8pla, it is connected to the net, it has the latest update installed, when I start the web browser application and in the on-screen keyboard I start typing for example the URL of the web page, so instead of the number 1 it displays a number 2, instead of the number 2 a completely different character, etc. etc. etc.
      I turned the TV on/off, turned the app on/off, unregistered the remote and registered it again. No effect so far.
      Any advice, thanks.

      Powered by the compelling fusion of art and technology, multiple ultra-large LG OLED displays bring Akomfrah’s artistic narratives to life with stunning picture quality on an incredible scale. Notably, LG OLED’s self-lit nature reveals the full, vivid expression of the colors, enriching the depth and realism of the artwork’s multi-sensory elements for a truly immersive experience.
      LG’s commitment to making LG OLED a more sustainable choice closely aligns with Akomfrah’s drive to address climate change, human communities and the plight of migrant diasporas globally. LG OLED TVs incorporate fewer components than LCD TVs due to the absence of a backlight, which results in the 65-inch OLED TV using 60 percent less plastic compared to an LCD TV of the same size. Weighing in at about 20 percent less than an LCD TV of the same screen size, OLED screens also contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions during transit. In addition, recycled plastic accounts for approximately 20 percent of the plastic used in the manufacturing of all LG TVs, including OLED models.
