To kick the cooking process off, ThinQ uses your preferences and dietary needs to recommend both trendy online recipes and LG Original Series recipes – prepared and tested by LG food scientists and chefs to unlock LG oven’s full potential. But before cooking your selected recipe can start, do you have all the required ingredients? In collaboration with Amazon Fresh, Walmart, Walmart, Kroger, Target and Instacart, you can now make sure you’re never missing an item by ordering supplies from your favorite grocery store via the app.2 So, once you’re ready to cook, open up a video guide and follow the instructions. Then put your creation in the LG InstaViewTM Oven, which is ready to go thanks to LG ThinQ having already sent over the temperature and cooking time that will cook it to perfection. The only thing left to do after the food has been cooked and served is to make sure the room temperature is perfect for you by controlling the LG DUALCOOL air conditioner via the app. Now you can enjoy your perfectly home-cooked meal to the fullest.

Here, sometimes when I give a command via ALEXA, the sound on the TV is MUTE, I have to unplug it for the sound to come back, does anyone have this problem?       ‘Optimism your feed’ Playlist Curated by Global Influencers Will Enable Users
      to Engage With Optimistic and Inspiring Content on Their Social Media Feeds

      SEOUL, May 29, 2024 — LG Electronics (LG) today launched a global campaign called ‘Optimism your feed,’ which aims to help users bring more optimism to their social media experience by inviting them to proactively engage with positive and inspiring content on their feeds.

We aim to create positive changes in people’s lives by being intentional with our positive activities both online and in the real world,” said Kim Hyo-eun, vice president and head of LG’s Brand Management Division. “In the AI era, LG remains committed to our unwavering promise of ‘Life’s Good.’ We will continue to enhance our customers’ lives with a human-centric approach, fostering hope for a better future.”
      A new global survey commissioned by LG found that social media is both a source of anxiety and a place where people turn to be entertained, keep up with friends and family, and stay informed about news and current events. According to the survey, almost half of respondents (45 percent) report their social media feeds consist of an equal or greater amount of negative content than positive content. One in four respondents (28 percent) claimed negative content on their social media feeds has increased their anxiety and one in five (20 percent) said it has made them unhappy.

      According to Fiesler, “Recommendation algorithms determine what we see on social media by predicting what content we are likely to engage with. These algorithms can therefore send us down ever more specific niches – for good and for bad. Research has shown that left unchecked, users can go down negative rabbit holes and encounter harmful content quite quickly. One of our first lines of defense needs to be improving our digital literacy, and paying more attention to how algorithms influence our online experiences. And the good news is that we do have some control over the input for these algorithmic predictions; if we choose to engage with optimistic content, there’s a good possibility we will see more of it.”
      Victoria Browne, a global influencer and TEDx Talk speaker, said, “The algorithms on our social channel can have a big impact on the content we see online, which impacts our mental health.       SEOUL, May 14, 2024 — LG Electronics (LG) has unveiled “Primefocus Health,” a new venture that aims to leverage innovative technologies and new healthcare therapies to enable providers to deliver a personalized, complete care experience and empower individuals to take control of their health at home.

This new provider-focused, patient-centric healthcare platform intends to give patients access to new healthcare therapies made available by innovative technology applications, as well as providers access to patient data and progress information to help ensure that their patients are on the right path to better health.
      Healthcare providers are under pressure to improve patient care and reduce readmissions and patient and provider costs. However, according to the National Institutes of Health, more than USD 52.4 billion is spent annually to care for patients who were readmitted to the hospital within 30 days for a previously treated condition.
      To help reduce these costs and enable better personalized care, Primefocus Health plans to develop a remote monitoring and healthcare delivery platform, using innovative non-invasive technology for tracking patient progress for multiple medical conditions, which can be integrated with the provider’s electronic health record system, artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities for ease of use.
