LGSM8100 - 05.20.08 don't memorize quick access after TV restart

Hello,

Since my TV updated to the last WebOS firmware 05.20.08, quick access key (Long Press 1 for HDMI1, Long press 2 for HDMI2) are reset each time i shutdown the TV, and i have to set them after each reboot...

I tried to restore the factory default settings on the TV to see if there is any change, but sadly this didn't fixed my problem.

Any idea please ?

Hi ..

i have  same problem here in a LG 43UM7400PLB after update las week.

I thought i was the only one had this problem.

I made a report to LG spain, I'm waiting for a response..

I am almost sure here is the best place to report this type of bugs, it is a WebOS problem after all...

I wonder if it would be possible to downgrade from 05.20.08 to 05.20.07 ?

thats LG support crew in Spain told me..

I heard the almost the same thing, downgrade is possible but not without breaking the warrant.
I hope WebOS will release a patch soon enough.

Hi all...

First of all, sorry for my poor english..

At last i found a solution for the 'quick access bug' in my 'LG 43UM7400PLB' tv..

I made a backup of my tv channels setup in fat32 formated pendrive.

Deleted all my quick access bookmarks.

Unpluged all my hdmi devices.

restored tv factory settings from setup menu.

plugged all my hdmi again.

test quick access again... 

remap al hdmi quick access entries..

turn off tv.

turn on tv, check quick access.

it worked !!!

restore tv channels from usb drive.

Lg service sent me an update, i applyed it but did'nt work until i restored factory settigns.

That was the solution..

At lastttttttttttttt..

Tried and it don't work...

By the way I disabled  "TV Quickstart" setting after the TV factory reset (Have you done it too ? ).
With TV Quickstart enabled, the quick access settings are in memory even if I shutdown the tv (normal after all, because the TV is not really shutdown).

Before the last LGWEBOS patch 05.20.09, even with TV "quick star / fast start" setting  disabled my quick access settings were correctly memorized even after the TV reboot. This is no more the case.

I really hope LG/ Webos will correct the problem or at least permit us to downgrade the firmware.

Has your change actually survived a Sofware Update ..  as I read it you have simply set up your Quick Access assignments again. My problem is they get wiped out on every Software Update and I then have to set them up again.

      Hi,
      I believe it started to happen after last update - version 03.53.45, maybe the one before. After I quit YouTube app, TV will not get signal from HDMI settopbox no matter I try. Only solution is to unplug and plug back HDMI cable which is really annoying. Is it known issue? Is there any fix? I tried few workarounds, like disabling smart features and so on, but no luck.
      TV model: OLED55B13LA
      Example:
      Settopbox is powered on, TV is showing signal over HDMI, everything is fine. Then I open YouTube, after some time exit, switch back to HDMI input of settopbox and TV says no signal. I re-plug cable and then it works fine.
