  1. I feel sorry for your tv, I really hope LG will fix your it. If only it was not so complicated to downgrade firmware...
  2. Have you tried to reset your TV to factory settings, and to call LG support ? an official patch shouldn't break the TV this should be covered... Your description remind me a not compatible screen resolution or frequency...
  3. Hello, My TV (49SM8100) is asking for firmware upgrade, but I would like to have to positive returns before upgrading it. Did any of you upgraded it without problem ? Thanks Ced PS : I still can remember two upgrades ago, when the new firmware broke the Quick access key... I also have see two users with two different TV models which have been bricked after the update.
  4. Hello, I was doing Webos 05.30.11 update on my Nanocell SM8100PVA when I saw your messages, I stopped it at 97%... Have you been able to solve your problems ?
  5. Great, I really hope this will be released soon, i am also tired to reassign the quick access key each time my TV (LG SM8100) is shutting down, and i will not enable TV quickstart to avoid this. This problem started with LGWebos 05.20.08 release and 05.20.15 didn't repaired it.
  6. Agreed, problem still here on 05.20.15... Quick access keys are not kept in memory if the TV is shutdown (with Quickstart disabled).
  7. Still nothing after 05.20.15 patch, Quick access are not kept in memory after tv reboot...
  8. Tried and it don't work... By the way I disabled "TV Quickstart" setting after the TV factory reset (Have you done it too ? ). With TV Quickstart enabled, the quick access settings are in memory even if I shutdown the tv (normal after all, because the TV is not really shutdown). Before the last LGWEBOS patch 05.20.09, even with TV "quick star / fast start" setting disabled my quick access settings were correctly memorized even after the TV reboot. This is no more the case. I really hope LG/ Webos will correct the problem or at least permit us to downgrade the firmware.
  9. I am almost sure here is the best place to report this type of bugs, it is a WebOS problem after all... I wonder if it would be possible to downgrade from 05.20.08 to 05.20.07 ?
  10. Hello, Since my TV updated to the last WebOS firmware 05.20.08, quick access key (Long Press 1 for HDMI1, Long press 2 for HDMI2) are reset each time i shutdown the TV, and i have to set them after each reboot... I tried to restore the factory default settings on the TV to see if there is any change, but sadly this didn't fixed my problem. Any idea please ?
  11. Hello, Do the LG TV need specific remote to enter Service menu (EZ-Adjust) ? or is the service menu not present on my LG SM8100 ? Any help please ?
  12. Hello, I received last week an LG SM8100, and I am trying to enable/enter the service menu to adjust some settings (Store region mainly, and to see few other things). I know the Magic remote included with LG SM8100 don't let us enable service menu, so I got three different remote controls (1 LG non magic, 1 compatible LG, 1 "universal") and I tried with the three of them but i have not been successfull... I tried pressing Menu Button + Button under TV panel during some seconds, but nothing happen (except the tv rebooted), then I tried OK Button + Button under TV panel but nothing happen unless the live tv banned flashing... I am a bit lost, may someone help me with this please ? Thank You in advance Ced
