Live playback / Pausing Live TV

Hello 

Question about new LG WebOS tv's, anyone noticed when pausing live TV ( live playback) on Webos 5.3 ( GX ) that recording is reset when changing channels. 

Meaning if you have paused tv and then changed the channel the playback recording is lost / reset to 0 minutes.

I've have two LG tv's before the GX that didn't do this current this have one.

I have the same issue on the new LG, changing the channel resets the playback so if you are mid program and you wanna pause and accidentally scroll... All is lost.

Any solutions for this? Didn't manage to find settings for it

I have the same problem with the new lg tv whereas the old one from 2017 has no problems it records continously over different channels, WHAT HAS LG DONE!? I don't think anyone has resolved it and there is no help from LG either!

      We are facing playback issues on LG 2024 and 2025 tv models when we try to play AAC audio content. The content starts playing but after a few seconds it pauses. We have tried with WebOS native player as well as Shaka Player and the behavior is same. We can play the aac audio content on tv models older than 2024.
      Tv model used: 
      LG -2025
      Model no - 43UA83006LA/2025
      Type- ultra HD/4kTv

      just bought a LG OLED AI B5 4K Smart TV 2025 -  but cannot see how to pause live TV - have correct USB  memory  plugged in and it records programmes fine but when we try live recording  .. Help!     it says the memory is incompatible

      WEBOS 25 fix Profile 7 Dolby Vision playback in MKV

      As the title says, please fix ASAP playback of Profile 7 (FEL/MEL) inside Matroska (.mkv) container.

      On WEB OS 24 it was working with backwards compatibility to HDR10 base layer - in other words the Dolby Vision was omitted.

      Currently in WEBOS 25 the files won't work/play.

      As LG started to support Profile 8 Dolby Vision from WEB OS 25 in MKV properly, this should be easy fix for LG.

      i always have to turn off the TV using the power switch (put on standby won't do) to view ''live tv'' channels again after watching LG Channels................any way to do that without powering off the tv completely ? 😟
