Customize C1 home screen

I do not wish to have the weather app or search function, which together take up almost 1/3rd of the screen, nor do I want any of the other bars, but the application bar on my home screen.  (All I want is the application bar and nothing else.)
How can I edit the home screen to do this?

Unfortunately no.  SO much wasted screen space to information I'll never look at or consume.

Go to

settings - general- system- additional settings- home settings:

In the YouTube video I saw two options 

Home auto launch on/off (off)

Home promotion on/off (off)

but on my OLED 65B19LA with webos version 6.2 in German language there is no option to switch off the auto launch
