Hi All,

Purchased LG UN 7350PTA 43 inch tv 7 days back.

Steps for reproduce

1. Configure TV WIFI with WIFI router

2. Turned off TV

3. Turned on TV

4. Takes approx. 4 minutes to auto connect WIFI, at that WIFI searching time, i did not even seen any WIFI name, it populated  all WIFI available after 4 minutes.

Contacted LG Customer care, He told it takes  4 minutes to connect WIFI. nowadays Mobile phone is takes approx. 30 seconds  to connect WIFI.

Note: tried with mobile hotspots, it is same behavior. it could be SW issue from LG TV. Reset TV 2 times but no luck

@Vijay Kumbhani If you check your smart phone WiFi "bars" in the room where the TV is located  (NOT the phone network signal bars), does the strengh look "good" (i.e. all arc lines), or just a couple highlighted?

Is the TV using a 2.4GHz band, or a 5GHz band?  Which is the best/strongest signal in the TV room?  What channels are those bands using (log into the router, go to config -> WiFi -> advanced settings to check). If on defaults (say 1 and 100), change them to channel 8 for the 2.4GHz, and 36 for the 5GHz, and ensure that the SSID names are 8 characters or less, with NO special characters in the name.

The router make and model would be useful to know.

Hi

Thanks for reply,  I given remote support to LG customer care executive. They said setting are fine and good. They said it takes approx. =~ 4 minutes to connect Wi-Fi, that answer is not valid.  explained LG customer care, can check wifi on your smartphone, it takes less than 1 minute to connect.

I observed few things, One TV power on, I  went to Connection  -> WIFI Connection, it shows cursor stuck even didn't turned off WIFI at that time, I will need to wait approx. =~ 4 minutes after that I will change WIFI settings. I think, This is Web Os Bug.

Is the TV using a 2.4GHz band, or a 5GHz band?

I think 2.5 GHZ

Which is the best/strongest signal in the TV room?

strongest

I think actually I found issue, it looks like web os SW issue.

Open Netflix on Tv after TV on. But Netflix is playing video after 30 seconds at that time Network WIFI option is in waiting for connect to internet.

Rest of all apps except Netflix working.

Once Network WIFI option show connected to internet after that all apps work.

It looks like, rest of the all apps is checking network status of Web OS SDK.

@Vijay Kumbhani The picture does no really show us anything, other than the TV settings UI is waiting. Did you check with your smartphone as requested in my previous post, to see the strength of the WiFi arc/bars ICON at the top of your phone, when near the TV? Do you know if the 2.4Ghz and 5GHz WiFi bands are using the same SSID name, or have different names on your router? Some routers have them the same, which makes it difficult to know which band you various devices are connected to. The signal strength   by the TV would be useful to know . How far is the TV from the router by the way?

If you have a Windows 7 or 8.1, or Windows 10 laptop, download the excellent utility from NIRSOFT, called WiFiInfoView, that will give you details of ALL reachable WiFi routers and SSID names "near" you. Of course the strongest signals are going to be the ones from YOUR router, and even if the SSID names are the same for both bands, this utility will show your both, and the strength and quality of the signals for both bands. It is also useful to find if your neighbours routers are using the same channels, so you can check your router, log in and change the channels to ones with less interference (see my earlier post reproduced below for suggestions on that).

NOTE: the download link is about three-quarters of the way down the page. When downloaded, unzip the ZIP file into its own empty location, then double-click on the .EXE file inside your newly created folder for that program.

In case you missed it, here is my previous recommendation to follow, and suggested WiFi channel numbers to try. Also, if yo have a very old router, that could be your issue (e.g. an N600), so please post the make and model of your router).

@Vijay Kumbhani Are you saying that by changing the DNS server to  8.8.8.8 fixed your slow WiFi startup?

If your router DNS service is set to that (8.8.8.8 primary with 4.4.4.4 as secondary DNS server), then the default in the TV would be to use the routers setting, that should use what the router is using anyway.

The automatic settings leave it to use your ISP DNS services, which is not always the most secure or safest thing to do.  If you are saying that the default setting in the TV is slow (and you have your router already set up for 8.8.8.8/4,4,4,4), but using 8.8.8.8 in the TV DIRECTLY (i.e. specifically defining it there) stops the slowness issue, then that is definitely a buggy situation with the LG TV WiFi  DNS usage and operation.  Unless of course you have some unusual or special advanced DNS settings in your router, or you have IPV6 services enabled, or an IPV6 server setup (not normally necessary for Home Networks).

Hi,

Yes, mine issue resolved after setting 8.8.8.8 DNS server. You can try at your end and check it is working for you.

This LG web os issue. I think they will fix soon. I already reported the issue LG Customer support

I have a LG 65QNED92AUA tv that has issues with the Bluetooth connection dropping off when connected to my earbuds. I believe the issue to be software related. LG has sent 2 technicians out to repair and the first technician changed the main board and Bluetooth transmitter which did not resolve the issue.
There are similar issues with Bluetooth Connection from others.
Since hardware replacement didn’t help and this is a known software-pattern issue, I would like push LG to specifically address it at the firmware/webOS level. I am unable to escalate to their software team and check if there’s a known patch or beta firmware for the QNED92 line.
For some reason this line of questioning is not available with in LG customer service.
       Please help!

On my LG 'smart' TV now for some reason I can now only watch the LG channels but not the fiber-optic programming on wi-fi . The HDMI 1 feed I normally use shows 'dark' on the Dashboard even though I can get the green checkmark on it. How do I reconnect it? The Dashboard shows my feed as ethernet/cable; which is wrong but efforts to correct it have failed so far.

      Hi everyone,

I’m running into a very inconsistent issue when streaming my Windows 11 PC with apollo (fork of Sunshine) to my LG C4 TV using Moonlight (webOS).
The setup worked perfectly for about 6 months at 2K / 90 FPS with high bitrate.
Around 2–3 weeks ago, the issue started without any clear change on the PC side (possibly after a webOS update).

      Symptoms:
      •    Moonlight on the TV shows “connection unstable” with a black screen
      •    Behavior is inconsistent and unpredictable :
Sometimes nothing works at all with black screen Sometimes 2K / high bitrate work or not yesterday 2K didn't work but lowest resolution (1280x..) worked •    Streaming to my phone works fine, so the host PC and network seem OK

      What I’ve tried:
      •    Clean reinstall of Moonlight on the TV and Apollo/Sunshine on the PC
      •    H.264 only (no HEVC, no AV1, HDR off for testing)
      •    All bitrate / FPS / resolution combinations
      •    Ethernet and Wi-Fi
      •    Different Windows display modes
      •    Virtual display disabled
      Setup:
      •    Host PC: Windows 11, NVIDIA GPU (RTX 3070)
      •    Apollo installed on PC
      •    LG C4 TV, webOS 10.2.2, sideloaded Moonlight client (1.6.36)
      •    PC and TV tested on both Ethernet and Wi-Fi (2 gbps internet speed on my computer)
      •    Streaming to other clients (android phone) seems to work reliably

Feel free to ask me any information needed
      Thanks for your help

Over the past few years, the vehicle cabin has evolved far beyond its traditional role as a functional driving environment. In step with broader mobility trends such as electrification, automation and software-defined intelligence, the car interior has steadily grown into a flexible living space – one capable of supporting a wider range of everyday needs during the journey.
Building on this industry evolution, we at LG are exploring how in-cabin experiences may further develop through our next-generation concept platform, LG P-pod 1.0. This solution combines LG Mobility AI and advanced technologies developed across our Vehicle Solution (VS) Company.
LG P-pod is the new name we’ve given to the digital cockpits that we develop to test advanced mobility innovations before they reach commercialization. The “P” stands for Prototype, highlighting its role as an early-stage concept and a practical testbed for our mobility technologies. The word “pod” refers to the cabin itself – a modular, human-centered space where multiple technologies work together. It also evokes the image of a pea pod, symbolizing how key in-car systems – from the head unit and displays to connectivity solutions and the Advanced Driver-Assistance System (ADAS) Vision System – fit seamlessly within one cohesive environment. At once functional and symbolic, LG P-pod represents a future-oriented yet emotionally resonant design philosophy – where innovation feels intuitive, and the name itself remains simple and memorable.
Let’s take a closer look at how we’re using LG P-pod 1.0 as a test platform to drive in-cabin experience innovation.

      1. Empathetic Interaction: Exploring How Cars Can Understand and Respond
It starts with recognition – a car that sees you, knows you and responds before you even ask. LG P-pod 1.0 serves as a technology incubator, exploring how future vehicles might identify drivers through a Driver Monitoring System (DMS), retrieve schedules or prepare frequently used apps to support more natural interaction.
These foundational technologies help us investigate how vehicles could evolve from simple awareness to context-responsive behavior. The adaptive portrait display shifts orientation for better visibility, while the LG Mobility AI-based voice interface provides a platform for studying more conversational, human-like interactions. Combined with front-camera data and Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) connectivity, the system also enables research into precise stopping points or personalized in-cabin moments – such as lighting, music and animations that respond to special occasions like a birthday or an anniversary.

      2. Personalizing Your Journey: Enabling Mobility to Adapt to Every Individual
While traditional personalization has centered on the driver, LG P-pod 1.0 acts as a technology incubator for extending tailored experiences to all passengers. Powered by the Driver & Interior Monitoring System (DIMS), the platform explores how it can recognize the conditions and preferences of both the driver and passengers in real time, offering tailored entertainment – from OTT services and music to games and apps – instead of mirroring the same content across every screen.
Shared experiences can also be enhanced. Group decisions, like choosing a restaurant, can be made through an on-screen voting feature that syncs results across displays. An AI recommendation engine suggests destinations, routes and entertainment based on contextual information. With profiles that follow each user and settings that activate automatically, LG P-pod 1.0 turns the car into a space where every passenger’s journey feels personal – whether it lasts ten minutes or two hours.

      3. Expanding Time and Space: Shaping How Life Can Continue Seamlessly on the Road
LG P-pod 1.0 reimagines the vehicle not as an isolated environment but as a lifestyle enabler that helps explore new forms of seamless connectivity. Through the Smart Telematics System and integration with smart home appliances, it serves as a platform for exploring how users might control home devices from inside the car – including air conditioning, lighting, robot vacuums and even pet feeders. Through real-time data exchange, the system also investigates ways to enable remote awareness of home cameras and sensors, helping to keep the home and vehicle connected and offering greater peace of mind while on the road.
This seamless connection extends to entertainment as well. Videos or music started at home can resume playing inside the vehicle, making the cabin a natural extension of each user’s personal environment. By reducing the boundary between “on the road” and “at home,” LG P-pod 1.0 acts as a platform for experimenting with new connected-life experiences where travel time becomes an uninterrupted part of everyday living.
“By leveraging LG P-pod 1.0 as an incubator for LG’s mobility technologies, we’re taking a meaningful step toward our vision of a ‘Living Space on Wheels,’ where the vehicle becomes a personalized environment that supports every part of your lifestyle,” said Alexio Rhee, head of Global Customer Strategy at the LG Electronics VS Company. “By combining empathetic interaction, multi-profile personalization and seamless connectivity between the car and the home, LG is redefining what the in-cabin experience can be.”
We’re unveiling LG P-pod 1.0 to a global audience as part of our “LG on board” mobility campaign, sharing how elements such as intelligent understanding, personalized adaptation and immersive interaction may shape future in-car experiences. Through a series of stories – beginning with the first core value, “Empathetic Interaction,” revealed on December 15 and followed by additional values later in the month – we aim to offer a glimpse into a more meaningful way of experiencing life on the move.

Title says it all.  Install a new 50 inch LG tv.  For every app and App Store it displays that message.  I have a great network and the TV is approx 30 feet from the wifi router.  It will play TV (not sure if that is coming over the air) and the phone app sees and can control the TV but not one app will work?
Any ideas or just return it?
      Thanks
