I am afraid ITV and My5 dont work on smartdns there is no work around

for this  the only otherway is via vpn as you have Nordvpn maybe you

can use this to see ITV etc.

Otherwise you would need a special vpn router useing ddwrt or tomato

firmware maybe

Yes i understand i dont know which isp you use or

which country you are in but normally on a isp router

you have 4 internet ports as i have i use one for my sabai

router, if your isp router only has one internet port then

you can put the router in bridge mode then you just cable

to your own  new router.

By the way what kind of speed do you have on your broadband.

Just post if you need any advice.

I use smart DNS and had a lot of problems as I live in a different country. I solved it by switching the location to London a switched the auto time setting to off. I get all UK terrestrial channels  np problem and 1 advantage was that the local channels that normally broadcast English language programs in a dubbed format are suddenly in English. I use Asus router with Merlin software installed.

I live in Spain and my tv has an inbuilt sat receiver which is linked via our satellite dish and I have always got the UK terrestrial channels but not ITV hub, I use an iptv subscription to receive other channels for watching Sport and Movies and my router is a Huawei HS8456 and have a subscription to Nordvpn but cannot connect Nord to my router

I'm in Spain also but can't get terrestrial tv via satellite so also use iptv. I had no problems until IP provider changed his system. I had to change my router and the cheapest option was ASUS and install Merlin, which was really straightforward. I was using a kodi box but then changed TV to an LG. I had problems as I set it initially for Spain and then found I couldn't get any UK terrestrial. I eventually found out that by putting the location as UK and the time as I said it all worked. I use videophone and have smartDNS in the router but can add a VPN to my PC as needed. I have never had to use one on the TV.

Just to explain what a Sabai vpn router can do

if it is on a UK openvpn setup this will then give

you a UK ip addresse which will transmit to your

TV, PC, Apple tv box,Tablet,Phone, via wifi

or cable, with this you can see all UK apps

The best router from Sabai is a Netgear R7000

price is $ 349 this will give you a speed of about

35 mbt fine for HD video.

LG has been recognized for its leadership and continuing dominance of the OLED TV market. Celebrating a decade of excellence and customer experience innovation this year, LG OLED remains the top choice in the premium TV segment through its unmatched contrast which enables perfect blacks and true-to-life colors, as well as its unprecedented flexibility and thinness.

According to market research firm Omdia, LG topped the OLED TV market by a landslide in the first quarter of 2023, claiming approximately 60 percent of the market by total shipments.
LG OLED TVs are currently sold in over 130 countries, making them the most widely available OLED TVs in the world. Last year, the accumulated total shipments of LG OLED TVs (since their initial launch in 2013) exceeded 15 million units; making LG the first OLED TV maker to reach this impressive milestone.

Additionally, LG accounted for more than 70 percent of the market for ultra-large OLED TVs – 70 inches and above – in the first quarter. The company is reinforcing its strong position in the ultra-large premium TV segment with industry-leading solutions such as the 97-inch LG SIGNATURE OLED M (model M3), which is the world’s first consumer TV with a wireless solution capable of real-time video and audio transmission at up to 4K 120Hz.
LG’s combined shipments of OLED TVs and LCD TVs in the first quarter were about 5.5 million units, with OLED TVs making up 738,000 of that number. Further, LG owned a 17.1 percent share of the global TV market as of first quarter 2023, by revenue.1

The company’s share of the global TV market has dipped slightly this quarter compared to the same period in 2022. This is mainly due to waning global demand and LG’s increased focus on stock risk management. However, LG OLED TV sales have remained strong, representing more than 30 percent of the company’s total TV sales in the first quarter of 2023.
Meanwhile, total global TV shipments in the first quarter reached 46.52 million units, the lowest figure recorded since the same period in 2009. However, Omdia expects a recovery in the second half of 2023 and predicts shipments to reach 205.51 million units by year-end, a slight increase from last year.

The OLED TV segment is expected to enjoy an upswing as well. Omdia projects that OLED TVs will take 46.1 percent of the premium TV market (USD 1,500 and above) by revenue1 at the end of the year; up 10 percent from 2022 (36.7 percent market share). The rapid rise of OLED TVs is expected to accelerate as a result of more brands having entered the segment in recent years.2
LG offers an increasingly diverse lineup of OLED TVs, with various screen sizes – from 42 to 97 inches – 8K and 4K options, and distinctive designs to choose from. Boasting an array of convenient and image-enhancing features, the company’s OLED TVs deliver unique customer experiences and next-level viewing immersion.

LG’s premium OLED TV lineup also includes the LG OLED evo series, which offers brighter, more lifelike images and LG Lifestyle Screens, which couple stunning picture quality with distinctive designs that add a touch of refinement to any living space. This year, the company will be expanding availability of the LG OLED Objet Collection Posé – a member of the Lifestyle Screen family – to a total of 40 countries worldwide.

LG OLED has been honored at the annually held CES Innovation Awards for 11 consecutive years3 and has received wide praise from major publications, including several “Best TV of the Year” titles and countless claims of being “the best TV I’ve ever reviewed,” “a true Marvel” and “the king of TVs.”
LG has been working tirelessly for the past decade to realize the immense potential of OLED. Building on what it has achieved so far, the company will continue to create and innovate over the next decade, exploring more of the near limitless possibilities presented by its self-lit technology to deliver ever-greater customer value.

It is easy to add a new item to the quick settings side menu on an lg c2, as long as the item you want is shown on the list presented when you choose  the + add item.  If you want to add a "shortcut" to an item that is not on the list then how can that be done.  Is it possible to edit the list presented?
Specifically I want to add a shortcut to "subtitles on" which is buried deep in accessibility settings,  there nothing on the list of options presented to allow this.

When will the 4.0 update be available for my 2016-17 LG Smart TV?  I just got Alexa and can't use it for the TV unless it has the 4.0 version.  Model #70UH6350-UB.

Hallo, I bought a 55un74006LB smart tv in Italy. It seems not to have usb recording capabilities, according to the information on the italian website, but the UK site declare it has. I think it's the same product with the same functions, so how can I turn the live tv and usb recording on? I think I found the options in the service menu but I cannot change the values. Any suggestion?

I noticed since the last update of WebOS, it defaults to a screen with apps along the bottom rather than HDMI1 as before on startup.  Even after going into the input settings and selecting HDMI1, it stills defaults to the other screen on startup.  When selecting HDMI1 on the inputs screen, it has a red dot in the corner, which I would assumes means that's the selected default.  But again, this seems to be ignored this on startup.
      Thanks.
