UltraGear Promises Advanced Gaming Immersion by Adding Nano IPS with
ATW Polarizer Technology, 48-inch OLEDs and 260Hz Refresh Rates to Latest Lineup

SEOUL, May 25, 2022 — LG Electronics (LG) has announced the launch of its new UltraGear gaming monitor lineup (models 32GQ950, 32GQ850 and 48GQ900). With an all-new design language, the latest display tech and a range of gaming and connectivity features, the 2022 UltraGear gaming monitors have what it takes to satisfy gamers’ needs.
Offering elite visual performance and speed, the flagship 32GQ950 comes equipped with a 4K Nano IPS display that features realistic color with Advanced True Wide (ATW) Polarizer technology, while the 32GQ850 has a QHD Nano IPS display with ATW and an ultra-high 240Hz refresh rate, overclocked (O/C) up to 260Hz. The new lineup also welcomes the 48GQ900, the UltraGear brand’s much-anticipated first entry into the OLED gaming monitor category.
This year’s LG UltraGear models sport an even sleeker gaming aesthetic with sharp, angular stands and the new Hexagon Lighting. Along with the new design identity, LG’s 2022 monitors bring the latest HDMI 2.1 connectivity, enabling features such as variable refresh rate (VRR) and support for fast 4K gaming on PCs and the latest consoles. And, as one would expect, the new UltraGear lineup delivers beautiful, vivid picture quality and lightning-quick response time – the two 32-inchers courtesy of LG’s advanced Nano IPS 1 millisecond Gray-to-Gray (GTG) display technology and the 48GQ900 via a premium, 48-inch, 0.1 millisecond LG OLED panel.
UltraGear 32GQ950 is a 4K resolution (3,840 x 2,160) gaming powerhouse that is sure to find a place on many gamers’ wish lists. The Nano IPS 1ms gaming display is LG’s first 4K model to implement ATW Polarizer technology, which improves the panel’s ability to ensure lively, accurate colors and deep, dark blacks across a wide viewing angle. VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certified, LG’s 32-inch monitor also offers high peak brightness (1,000 nits) and 98 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, as well as easy connection to PCs and consoles with two HDMI 2.1 ports.
With the highest refresh rate of the new lineup – 240Hz, O/C 260Hz – and a 1ms response time, the 32-inch UltraGear 32GQ850 provides the smooth, speedy performance that the latest games demand. LG’s VESA AdaptiveSync Display-certified monitor has a QHD (2,560 x 1,440) Nano IPS panel with ATW Polarizer technology that guarantees seamless visuals and consistent colors from almost any vantage point. The 32GQ850 also comes with VESA DisplayHDRTM 600 certification, covers 98 percent of DCI-P3 and has a three-sided borderless design that helps to draw gamers deeper into the action of their favorite titles.
Notably, 2022 sees the arrival of LG UltraGear’s first OLED gaming monitor, the 48GQ900. A Red Dot and iF Design Award-winning product, the self-emissive, 48-inch 4K display boasts a 120Hz (O/C 138Hz) refresh rate, a 0.1ms response time, impeccable color accuracy and a fully-borderless design. Perfect for PC and console gaming, the new model offers the superb color reproduction and contrast of OLED and features LG’s anti-glare low reflection (AGLR) coating, which reduces visual distractions so that users can focus their attention fully on the gameplay. What’s more, the 48GQ900 comes with a remote control specially designed for enhanced gaming convenience and a stylish stand that provides optimal stability without intruding into the user’s desk or table space.
To complete the gaming experience, LG’s latest UltraGear gaming monitors incorporate a 4-pole headphone jack that allows users to plug in a gaming headset and chat as they play. The 2022 models also offer the superior surround sound of DTS Headphone:X®, which reproduces every sound in the game with stunning clarity.
Additionally, LG UltraGear is introducing its first-ever gaming pad and gaming mouse* this year. Supporting the precise control needed for fast-paced gaming, the comfortable-to-use UltraGear gaming pad is large enough to accommodate a mouse and keyboard, and even has customizable RGB lighting. The reversible pad is suitable for any genre of game or style of play, featuring a smooth, hard surface for maximum glide and a rougher fabric surface for better braking.
“The latest LG UltraGear gaming monitors apply cutting-edge technology and design to raise the bar for the gaming display category,” said Seo Young-jae, senior vice president and head of the IT business unit of LG Electronics Business Solutions Company. “Ideal for both PC and console gaming, our new monitors offer features and capabilities that take the entire gaming experience to the next level. We will continue to solidify the UltraGear brand’s strong reputation with innovative products that put the needs of gamers first.”
The latest UltraGear gaming monitors will be available starting this month in Japan with key markets in North America, Europe and Asia to follow.

Hey there,  I have had a  OLED55B6P for ten months and I love it but

I have a problem all a sudden, just today it starts to show a black screen with fire works every minutes if I don't press a button on the remote.

I have no eco mode on, no power save modes on, TV firmwire is up to date, and tried turning off on and on the tv.

      anyone know how to fix?

Subtitles aren't appearing for certain shows(eg. Big Bang theory).NO option to change audio language, video quality. Certain shows are like watching snapshots at 10s interval(check Homeland). Cricket matches are having slow frames per second although i have good bandwidth and fps on my tv(LG UJ652T).  NO VIP option also.

      Hi everyone,

I just bought a new LG television for a lobby in the company.
It's a 55" LG Smart TV with WebOS.

This tv is to show the narrowcasting system. But after a few hours the tv gets in to something like a screensaver.
The narrowcasting is playing with the webbrowser from the installed apps.

Does anyone knows how to get the screensaver off?

      Thankyou very much:)

New 4K Ultra Short Throw Model Delivers Immersive Cinematic Experiences
with Sharp, Vibrant Images and Boasts Stylish, Modern Design

SEOUL, May 20, 2022 — LG Electronics (LG) is expanding its premium CineBeam 4K laser projector lineup with the remarkable, new Ultra Short Throw (UST) laser projector (model HU915QE), the follow up to the HU715Q released earlier this year. Designed with serious movie lovers in mind, LG’s latest flagship home cinema solution can produce a stunningly sharp 90-inch image when placed just 5.6 centimeters from the wall or a massive 120-inch picture at a distance of only 18.3 centimeters.1
Thanks to the HU915QE’s combination of advanced projection technology, users no longer need a large, dedicated space to enjoy sublime cinematic experiences at home. Boasting 3,700 ANSI lumens and an impressive 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio, LG’s latest projector delivers vibrant, realistic pictures that ensure maximum viewing immersion. By adopting LG’s evolved, three-channel laser technology, which employs a separate light source for each primary (RGB) color, this new model is able to offer more vivid images even during the day compared to other conventional products with the single light source technology.2
An excellent all-rounder, the HU915QE really excels when playing movies and streaming content in 4K HDR, using HDR Dynamic Tone Mapping to analyze and adjust image brightness every single frame. LG’s Brightness Optimizer II further elevates the new CineBeam projector’s performance, automatically adjusting brightness levels according to ambient light conditions so that users can enjoy clear, vivid picture quality whether the room is well lit or as dark as a movie theater. Additionally, Adaptive Contrast adjusts the projector’s light sources to provide a superb contrast for each individual scene.
With LG’s intuitive webOS smart platform onboard, the HU915QE lets users watch all their favorite shows from streaming services3 such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, YouTube and Apple TV without an additional device. They can also wirelessly stream content via Screen Mirroring, Apple AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth.4 On top of that, its built-in 2.2 Channel, 40W speaker system enhances the viewing experience with strong, rich audio. For more powerful, theater-like surround sound, users can effortlessly connect up to two LG Bluetooth speakers at once.5
The new CineBeam projector also makes a stylish addition to any room with its eco-friendly ‘Re-wool’ designed by renowned Danish textile company, Kvadrat. Made from 45 percent recycled wool, this material has become a favorite of design- and sustainability-conscious companies worldwide, used in products as diverse as furniture and premium audio solutions. Thanks to its muted, natural color and clean design, the HU915QE blends in well with luxurious home interiors.
“Featuring LG’s latest projection technologies, the new CineBeam projector delivers outstanding 4K picture quality from a short distance,” said Seo Young-jae, senior vice president and head of the IT business unit of LG Electronics Business Solutions Company. “An excellent choice for movie lovers seeking authentically cinematic experiences at home, the HU915QE combines superb performance with convenient features, easy installation and a sophisticated, space-friendly design.”
LG CineBeam 4K laser projector (model HU915QE) with the latest UST technology will be available in the first half of 2022, starting with key markets in North America, Europe and the Middle East, with Latin America and Asia markets to follow.
      Specifications:
      HU915QE Resolution 4K UHD (3,840 x 2,160) Brightness 3,700 ANSI Lumens Light Source 3 Channel Laser Lamp Life 20,000 hours Brightness Optimizer II Auto Brightness + Adaptive Contrast + Iris Mode Throw Ratio 0.19 (100 inches @ 9.8cm) Screen Size 90-120 inches Keystone Correction 4/9/15 Point Warping webOS Yes (Global) Wireless Android / iOS Integrated Speaker 2.2 Channel, 40W Inputs HDMI x 3 with eARC / USB 2.0 x 2 Size (W x D x H) 680 x 347 x 128 mm  # # #
1 Model HU915QE projects images ranging from 90 to 120 inches in size (measured diagonally).
2 Compared to model HU715Q in result of internal testing.
3 Internet connection and subscription to streaming services required. Supported services may differ by country.
4 Streaming and mirroring content from iOS devices available via Apple AirPlay 2 and Apple HomeKit. iOS devices require software version 12.3 and above (macOS version 10.14.5 and above for Apple products) and must be on the same Wi-Fi network as LG CineBeam projector.
5 Compatibility guaranteed with LG Bluetooth speakers only. Needs to purchase LG Bluetooth speakers to use this function.
